“So, she has finally made up her mind, huh?” Alex said at lunch as he heard that Amanda asked to speak with Dimitri through the Harpy.
“Apparently,” Dimitri replied, trying to sound disinterested, “She has made us wait for so long. It is about time that she did.”
“Yes, I see what you mean,” Alex replied. He is afraid that he might have sounded too enthusiastic than necessary. He had always wanted for the ritual to push through, but he also started to feel some reluctance about it. “We need to prepare for your dinner then. And then for the ritual.”
“Yes,” Dimitri replied, “Please arrange for our dinner and for the ritual later.”
“I will do just that,” Alex said and pretended to act like normal, “And you prepare yourself too.
