Chapter 68 Unconsolable

Since he was refusing any company, Rai left Faelon in a back bedroom after Faelon demanded that Rai not say a word to him. Rai nodded and locked the door when he exited.

"I can try to speak with him. Perhaps he will listen to me due to our friendship," Atlas mumbled sadly.

"Put wards up so he cannot transport out of there. He won't listen to anyone at the moment. His grief is much too fresh," Rai answered sternly. Raising his arms, Atlas said the spell words as he moved his arms in the ancient pattern. Frowning he put his hands down at his side.

"I finished the spell. So what is Sebastian planning?" He inquired curiously. Gesturing for his son to follow, Rai took Atlas into the living room and told him to sit. Rai sat across from him and leaned forward resting his elbows on his knees.

"Sebastian plans on asking the angels to bring Sophia back and make her the guardian of Faelon," he said softly. Creasing his brow, Atlas whistled.
