Chapter 71 inconceivable true mates

Appearing in a dark alley full of clutter and trash bins, Faelon glanced up at the huge concrete buildings of the city.

"Phil works in this building here," Atlas grunted, placing his palm against the side of the skyscraper.

"Fantastic," Faelon stated as he looked down at his bare feet and shook out his tousled hair.

"We look like mongrels, buddy," Atlas snorted. Shaking his head at the reaper, Faelon looked down the alley and noticed a door off the parking lot.

"Let's go through the back so we draw less attention," he mumbled sourly as he started toward it.

"Wait! Give me a moment. I can just transport us to his office once I find it," Atlas answered nonchalantly as he closed his eyes and pressed harder on the building with both his hands.

"He is alone, give me your hand," Atlas ordered.
