LOGINChapter 2
Harper's POV
The Whitmore brothers. My blood ran cold. Just the thought of them made me tremble. The boys who called me names, taunted me, made me dread every morning before school and treated me worse than dirt because I was a filthy omega who was even a disgrace to omegas because I had no wolf. I was no less than a human. It was the worst fate anyone could ever be subjected to.
"No please no. Y..you are joking right?" I stuttered desperate to be told this was another one of her lies. The moon goddess couldn't possibly be so cruel. She had already made me go through enough right from when I was born.
Stella grinned. "It's a blessing. Power, status, respect. It's way more than your dead father gave you. You should be happy."
Happy? Happy to become a shadow in a house full of the most powerful wolves in existence? Happy to be subjected to a lifetime of pain and a constant reminder of my predicament? I would never be able to escape if we indeed moved to the pack house.
"They hate me. None of them wants to have anything to do with me. This isn't fair. You know what they do to me. I would be nothing but a stain to their legacy if you..."
Stella growled, her eyes glowing and her claws lengthened. I flinched taking a step back. This wouldn't be the first time she would be laying her hands on me.
"Enough girl! This marriage benefits me, and unfortunately, it benefits you. You will behave." I stared at her, anger burning within me. She grabbed my cheeks and squeezed hard when I didn't respond.
"Is that clear?"
I didn't want to respond but the tears were already threatening to spill due to the pain. "Crystal."
She moved her hands abruptly pushing my head back. "Good. Get your things ready. A car will be coming to pick us up tonight. And from now on, call me mother. We do not want my dear husband thinking we don't have the mother-daughter bond, do we now?"
She turned on her heels and stormed off to her room. My knees gave out and I crashed on the floor. Of course, the Alpha knew nothing about how mean she could be. If he knew, I doubted he could have chosen her. There was no way I could escape this now. Tears filled my eyes. Why was the moon goddess so cruel to me?
A car honked loudly startling me. Stella rushed back in as fast as she had left. She smoothed her dress and held her head high like a queen about to ascend her throne.
She squealed. "They are here already. I packed most of what I could from your closet," she threw a little bag in front of me. I haven't even had time to process what the hell was going on and we were leaving already. A man stepped in dressed in a suit. Stella pulled me up to my feet with a sweet smile on her face.
"I'm here to pick you and your daughter up, ma'am."
"Of course. We've been expecting you. This is Harper, my lovely daughter. Harper dear, this is your father's chauffeur, Dawson," she introduced.
He gave a slight nod of his head. "Miss Harper."
"Shall we?" he asked picking up our luggage as his eyes darted towards the door.
"We shall." Stella literally dragged me behind him till we got into the car. Dawson started the ignition and zoomed off leaving behind a trail of dust.
"What about our house? We can't just leave it," I muttered looking behind me. Even though the house held many bad memories, I had good ones. Great memories with my father which I never wanted to forego.
"I tried selling it but no one was interested. We both know why that is. That dump is going to become a dump forever," she replied giving me a dirty look. I placed my head on the door and looked out of the window moving as far away from her as I possibly could. Stella was selfish and mean. She acted like she cared about me before my father died just so she could run his business. There would be no escaping from her. I had no other choice but to play along till I saved up enough for college and finally leave all this behind me.
Dawson turned to another street and pulled up in front of the pack house. The gate clicked open and he drove in. I had never been to the pack house or seen it up close. My jaw almost fell to the floor in awe. It was a luxurious mansion and looked way better than it did in magazines. Built with glass, steel and smooth dark stone, it rose above the tall trees. There were security cameras everywhere. A garden and a beautiful waterfall.
"Stop gawking like a commoner," Stella scowled.
"Welcome to the pack house ma'am," three maids bowed simultaneously. Stella nodded in response. They grabbed our bags and headed inside. I gulped following closely behind. I dreaded meeting the Alpha and the triplets. Why would he even choose Stella when there were plenty of other women he could pick from? I was sure he was aware I was her stepdaughter, a mere omega. Then why? It didn't make any sense.
The inner decor was just as breathtaking. It had polished marble floors, floating staircases, and crystal chandeliers which shone against the white colored walls. Every single piece of furniture screamed elegance and wealth.
"Good evening ma'am, Miss," an elderly man acknowledged. He was also dressed in a suit. "I'm Andrew, the butler." Of course, they had a butler. I expected nothing less.
"Hi," I mumbled awkwardly. It was obvious he was introducing himself to me. Stella already met him.
"If there's anything you need, do not hesitate to call our attention. The Alpha stepped out but before he left, he told us to welcome you both warmly. Any questions? Do you want a tour?"
"There would be no need for that Andrew. It's late. I will personally take Harper around tomorrow morning. It's fine, really," she assured me. Bile rose to my throat. Her fake sweetness was making me sick.
"In that case then, allow me to show you to your room."
Stella pulled me into a hug. "Have a good night's rest darling. You will be introduced to everyone tomorrow morning. You had better behave or I will end you myself," she whispered the last part still smiling sweetly. I followed Andrew upstairs, through the long halls till we stopped in front of a room.
"This will be your room, Miss. Have a good night's rest," he said.
I nodded. "Thank you." I placed my hands on the doorknob about to pull the door when his voice suddenly stopped me.
"Do not wander around at night miss. Never know what you could find lurking around in the dark," he warned. I stared at him stunned. He turned around and headed back downstairs. A loud howl made me jump in fright and run into the room, shutting the door tightly behind me.
Chapter 4Harper's POV"See you at ten." I dropped my cell phone after reading Scott's text. I stared at myself in the mirror. My hair was up in a ponytail, light pink lipstick on my lips and I was wearing one of the few cute dresses I owned. It still felt like a dream. I was going to a school party as Justin's date. He had been my crush since middle school and I hoped he would turn out to be my mate when I turned eighteen.Sadly, I was part of the rare omegas who had no wolf. My heart was crushed when I thought it was over for us. However, turned out it wasn't. He might have felt the same way as I did. He hadn't found his mate either. Maybe we were indeed meant to be. I smiled at the mirror and let out a deep breath. No one was downstairs when I stepped out. The triplets were nowhere to be seen after what happened in my room. I didn't know what it was but I knew I could never be that close to them ever again. We were siblings now despite how much I hated that fact. I hadn't met the A
Chapter 3Harper's POVI stirred in my sleep. I thought I heard a noise but I was too exhausted to pry my eyes open. The door creaked. The blanket shifted just as I felt something on my face followed by a low growl, almost real, almost as if it was right next to me. That snapped me out of my trance. I wiped my face with my hands but to my shock, my hands were filled with slime. Three figures stood at the foot of my bed. I screamed at the top of my voice wiping my face off with the blanket furiously. The sound of someone laughing stopped me abruptly. It was them. They were here. Hayes, Cole and Noah. I looked up at them terrified. I clutched the blanket tighter to cover my half-naked self from their peering gaze. "W...what are you doing here?" Noah clicked his tongue with an unsettling calm. "Is that any way to say hi to your new brothers?" Cole dragged a chair close to the foot of my bed and sat on it. Arms folded in front of him with a smirk on his face. Hayes leaned lazily on the

Chapter 1Harper's POV"Jump""Jump Harper. What else are you waiting for? There's nothing left for you in this world. End it all right now."That little voice at the back of my head kept egging me on. I took in a deep breath and stood at the edge of the bridge with shaky feet. The wind kept pushing me further. The moon shone brightly as if mocking me for my predicament. The voice was right. It wasn't as if anyone would miss me anyway. If I jumped right now, my lifetime of misery would be over. I would finally have peace. My fingers curled against the cold iron railings. I wondered if the cold water would feel welcoming or if it would hurt for a moment before everything finally went blank. My right foot hung over the edge. Just one more step and no more crying into my pillow at night, no more smiling and pretending I was fine. The waves rumbled and I hurriedly stepped back, falling on my back with a thud. "Pathetic. You don't even dare to end it all. Coward!" the voice cackled taunt
