Chapter 11 Painful Night

Since we were struggling, I have also learned to commute. At first it was hard for me to ride jeeps and buses, but eventually my body got used to it. I also get accustomed to crowded travel or having fun during the rush hour. I have also learned to ride the bus while it is still running. I have really learned a lot from our family’s biggest problem right now.

"Hey girl, I have good news for you!" Leah said when we met after our last afternoon class.

We were supposed to have one more subject, but all our instructors said they had a faculty meeting. My friend's eyes were shining, and she was obviously excited. She was about to wriggle with the intensity of her excitement, so I couldn't help but laugh at her appearance.

"What good news is that, that made you look like a worm thrown in the salt?" I asked, laughing. We sat on a bench shaded by a large tree. I don't know what kind of tree it is, but I am happy because the leaves are rich and thick.
