CHAPTER XXVIII

Sunny

"Let's go out." He said as he stood up from his bed.

"Huh?" I asked him again. "Go out?" I added, confused by his sudden change of behavior.

He nodded. "I will be there in 10. Change your clothes. Take a bath or what, I will fetch you. Take your time." He replied. "Do you get what I mean now?"

I bobbed my head in response. "I get it now." I replied.

"Okay, bye." He responded and ended the call just like that.

What the hell is wrong with him? Can't he even say bye properly or let me say something before ending the call? Why is he even asking me to go out? He is really weird.

I quickly took a bath and prepared myself. I went out of my room and found my mom. "Mom?" I called and knocked on her door.

"Yes? Come in." My mom yelled from inside her room. "It is open." She added. I opened the door and peered inside. "Oh, you are going out?" Mom asked.

I nodded. "Yes, Mom. Steven called me a while ago and said, we will go out suddenly." I replied.

Mom smiled. "That's good. You ne
