The sun was beginning to set over the beautiful garden in the Alpha's compound. The vanishing light cast a warm golden glow over the beautiful, expensive flowers that were mostly imported from the most expensive parts of the world.

The scent of blooming roses mingled with the earthy aroma of freshly watered soil, mixed with the gentle rustling of leaves to create a soothing symphony for many people who came here to seek privacy. The Royal Garden was a sanctuary of lovers to many or a hideout where people's secrets and crimes could be whispered without fear of being overheard.

Tina, Luna Katelyn's maid, made her way to this very garden just as it was getting dark. Her footsteps were silent on the gravel as she moved with purpose. She was cautious and her eyes scanned every visible area for any signs of prying eyes. This meeting was very important, and the utmost discretion was needed.

As she approached a secluded corner of the garden, she spotted Victoria, Bellatrix's maid, waiting beneath the shade of a large willow tree. Victoria stood with her arms crossed, her expression was one of impatience and a little curiosity.

Tina approached her quickly, glancing over her shoulder to make sure they were truly alone. "Did anyone follow you?" she asked.

Victoria rolled her eyes and shook her head. "I'm not dumb, Tina. No one followed me. I made sure of it," she replied, then her eyes narrowed slightly as she studied Tina.

Tina nodded, satisfied with the answer. She took another moment to look around, ensuring that no one had suddenly come up to them.

The garden was so quiet that the only sound there was, was a gentle chirping of crickets beginning to wake as darkness began to fall.

"Good," Tina said, sounding relieved and reached into her apron pocket. She pulled out five small bottles, each filled with a clear, unassuming liquid, and discreetly handed them to Victoria.

Victoria took the bottles and her eyes widened with curiosity. She held one up to the disappearing sunlight and examined it closely. "What exactly is this?" she asked with more than a little suspicion in her tone. "And what exactly does it do?"

Tina leaned in slightly "These are fertility potions, they will 'increase' Bellatrix's chances of birthing a son," she said, repeating the words her mistress had forced her to rehearse.

Victoria's eyebrows shot up. She was clearly intrigued, but not at all convinced by Tina's story. "Really? And how does this stuff work?"

"It's a foreign blend, so it's hard to explain," Tina replied with a frown, evading the question. "Just add it to her food. A few drops each day. Don't worry, It's completely safe, undetectable, and very effective. Trust me."

Victoria paused as the wheels of her brain turned. She looked at the bottles again, then back at Tina. "Alright, but what's in it for me?" she asked with a sly smile creeping onto her face. "You are not seriously expecting me to just do this out of the goodness of my heart, are you?"

Tina eyed her with a look of irritation and annoyance. "Why not just do it out of loyalty to your mistress, huh?" she suggested, trying to appeal to her colleague's sense of duty, but it was clear that Victoria had no such thing.

Victoria snorted and crossed her arms again. "Loyalty doesn't pay the bills, Tina. You know how things are." Tina sighed, realizing she wouldn't be able to sway Victoria with sweet words alone.

"Fine," she said, resigned. "Luna Katelyn is ready to reward you with two million dollars when the task is complete." Victoria's eyes widened at the promise of such an enormous reward. She had never seen, let alone owned such an amount.

A greedy smile spread across her face to replace the previous suspicion. "Two million?" she echoed, clearly pleased. "That's more like it. So how long will it take for the medicine to work?" Victoria asked, slipping the bottles into her own apron pocket.

"It's slow-acting," Tina explained. "It needs time to take effect, but it's completely undetectable. No one will suspect a thing, so you don't have to worry about getting caught. Victoria's brow shot up, there was no way this was just a fertility booster as Tina claimed, but that was not Victoria's problem.

Satisfied with the explanation, Victoria nodded. "Alright, you've got yourself a deal." She held out her hand, sealing the agreement. As a token of good faith, Tina reached into her pocket again and handed Victoria a small, exquisite jewelry box.

Inside was a necklace adorned with a cluster of diamonds that sparkled even in the dim light-a piece easily worth a million, even if sold to a pawnshop. There was no way Victoria would fail now, not after receiving such an expensive gift. Victoria's eyes immediately lit up, and she let out a squeal of excitement, quickly clapping her hands over her mouth to stifle the sound.

Tina glanced around nervously, gesturing for Victoria to keep quiet. "Shh! Not so loud!" she hissed harshly. Her anxious gaze darted around to make sure they remained unseen and unheard. Victoria composed herself but her face was still a picture of pure delight.

"Sorry, sorry," she whispered, unable to suppress a grin. "I just wasn't expecting such a generous deposit."

"Keep it under wraps," Tina warned in a serious tone. "Remember, no one must know about this. It's between us."

"Don't worry," Victoria assured her, slipping the jewelry box into her pocket. "I know how to keep a secret." With the agreement sealed and the plan set in motion, the two maids exchanged a final glance of understanding before parting ways.

Tina watched as Victoria turned and disappeared down the garden path, leaving Tina standing alone under the willow tree. Tina took a deep breath to calm her nerves before making her way to the pavilion where Luna Katelyn awaited. The pavilion was a beautiful structure, surrounded by climbing vines and filled with the sweet scent of jasmine.

It was Katelyn's favorite spot in the garden, a place where she would often come for peace and quiet. Luna Katelyn sat on a bench. Her posture was graceful and regal, like true royalty. Her gaze was fixed on the horizon as the sun dipped below the distant hills. Her calm, pure appearance hid the devious and malicious plans that she was brewing inside. Tina approached her mistress with careful steps.

She camera to a halt a respectful distance away. She then bowed slightly and kept her voice steady as she delivered the news. "It's done, my lady. Victoria has agreed to carry out the task."

Katelyn turned her head slightly, acknowledging Tina's words with a nod. Her eyes were now sharp, and calculating, like she was already planning the next steps to take in her game of destruction.

"Good," she said. "Well done, Tina. You've done well." Tina felt a flame of pride light up in her at the praise, but she knew better than to let it show.

"Is there anything else you need, my lady?" Luna Katelyn considered the question for a moment, as her eyes moved back to the darkening sky.

"No, that will be all for now. I'd like some time alone."

"Of course, Luna," Tina replied, bowing slightly before retreating from the pavilion, leaving the Luna to her thoughts.

As the silence enveloped her, Luna Katelyn allowed herself to rejoice for a moment. The garden was her place of privacy, so no one would be watching her here. She could relax and enjoy the fact that her husband's breeder was soon going to be killed and no one would know.

Her mind wandered back to the plan she had set in motion. The decision to cause chaos in Bellatrix's life had not been made lightly, but it was necessary to protect her position and secure her future. In their world, power and influence were everything, and Katelyn had grown up knowing she had to be ruthless to maintain her standing.

Bellatrix was a threat, a mere breeder whose presence in Killian's life could not be tolerated. Katelyn's decision was unchangeable; she would do whatever it took to ensure Bellatrix's failure and subsequent execution by the Alpha's hand. It wasn't really Bellatrix's fault that this was happening to her, but this was the fate the moon goddess had chosen for her.

If the moon goddess cared for the breeder, then she wouldn't have let her cross Katelyn's path. In her mind, the path ahead was clear. The wheels were already in motion, and Katelyn would see to it that everything went according to plan. She had worked too darn hard to get her position as Killian's Luna, and she would definitely never a low-life brat just appear and take it all.

Katelyn's respect, purpose, wealth, reputation and position were at stake, and she would stop at nothing to protect them. As the stars began to twinkle in the twilight sky, Katelyn rose from her seat, happy with the decisions she made.

She would return to her chamber and rest now, confident in the knowledge that she had already practically eliminated that ugly brat and secured her future. With one last look at the tranquil garden, Luna Katelyn turned and made her way back to the palace, she couldn't wait to see how the drama was going to play out now.

‎The man who was singled out was terrified; he didn't think this king's eyes were this sharp. And there were several others who also didn't applaud, even amongst the special guests. Why was he the only one singled out?His legs were buckling as he made his way to Killian."Don't be afraid. I won't kill you for your offence," Killian smiled, but the latter really couldn’t be reassured.Even though Killian patted his shoulder gently for emphasis, the man still shuddered as several chills rushed down his spine all at once. He dropped to his knees, "F-forgive me, your majesty. I'm sorry," he beseeched on all fours, his gaze to the floor."Henley," Killian called, and one of the duo who had been kicked down the platform earlier stepped forward."Yes, your majesty?""Take this bundle of nerves outside. Let him have a bit of 'fresh air',""Aye, Alpha," with that, the blond stepped forward and picked the brunet by the back of his shirt, taking him outside."Alright, I know 99% of you love to

Ceremony Hall,Moon Flame Pack.8:14 pm. The venue— a prodigious, furnished hall with high ceilings, which featured intricate carvings. Several elegant chandeliers were placed throughout the venue, complemented by festive wall lights that brightened the place. On the east and west wings of the hall were two platforms—one on each side, and both had three steps, which were not that high. Situated atop the platforms were several exquisite high-back chairs fit for prominent entities. Each chair had aureate footstools and a crescent moon-shaped side table. These chairs would be occupied by the guest royalty or their representatives (likely a Beta or Alpha prince) who'd be gracing this event.15 minutes later. The once-empty hall was now full of pack members who chatted energetically with each other. Some were even heatedly guessing the colour choice of their Luna-to-be's outfit.“I bet she’d wear blue. It matches her eyes,” “I disagree with that. She’ll wear a rainbow dress,” a plump br

Moon Flame pack. Beta’s residence. 6:03 pm..."Carissa, which do you think would suit me better? I'm still so lost," Helene asked her maid who'd just entered the room. The latter had her hands clasped in front of her, a small smile on her face. "Whatever you put on suits you, mistress." She replied meekly."Of course, I know that. But help me make a choice," Helene excitedly urged, her eyes filled with anticipation."Alright, mistress. As you desire," Carrissa said, walking towards the bed, on which lay two gorgeous gowns. One was light blue, with a flare skirt that barely touched her knees. The other was of a silver colour, studded with diamonds and would fall slightly past her ankles. Both of them had a long lace train, with that of the silver one being longer. Nonetheless, neither of them outshone the other, and without being told, they’d come with a hefty price tag. The Alpha had ordered someone to deliver these to her home in a sizable box this evening. It's not like she ha

"I instructed you to use 'Sir' when it’s just the two of us," Killian reminded as he placed the headphones around his neck. “Don’t let me correct you on that again,” he warned. She swallowed hard, "Noted, sir. And…s-sorry, sir. I…""Why are you faltering?" his brows were creased."Well, this... You see," she didn't know how she would explain. "I ask you again, Bellatrix. What did you call me?"“I called you ‘Sir,’”He scoffed at her response. “Trying to play smart?”The omega pursed her lips, averting her gaze to the ground, wondering if it could be so merciful to swallow her. She feared he would be angry if she repeated those three words. "Cat got your tongue?" He asked her, but she didn't dare to look at him. "Weren't you courageous before? How come that boldness has deflated?"Bellatrix's knees gave at this point. However, mustering whatever courage she could summon, she raised her head to gaze at him. "Sir, I'm sorry," She put her palms together. “Please, forgive me,”"What are

“Sure, you can rest all you want. Whenever you feel fully recovered, even if it’s in the evening, that’s when we’ll start.”She wanted to glare at him, but chose to hold back. “Can I… rest for ten minutes?”“Starting when?” he asked, while looking at his watch. “Now…?” If possible, she wanted to say after 2 hours. But she didn’t dare to. “After 20 minutes, please, sir,”“So you want the ten-minute countdown to start after 20 minutes of doing nothing?” he asked with a raised brow. That would equal 30 minutes of rest. It was better than nothing. But a thought came to her.“Can I… increase it?” she asked in an uncertain tone.“Sure. But bring me the bag first,” her mate instructed. She sighed defeatedly and shuffled towards him, barely able to withstand the bag’s weight. After dropping it on the ground upright and close to his feet, she made a pivot, wanting to head back to the opposite tree. She’d barely taken three steps when he stopped her.A troubling unease started to build up ins

5 days later. Bellatrix's maid was pulling her mistress towards the Alpha's office. It was barely 6 a.m., the latter was still sleepy, and her feet still felt sore. "I still want to sleep some more, let go of me," she complained while trying to head back the way they'd come. That was a fruitless effort, she was no match for Xoey."I know, my lady, but you'll be fine," the maid reassured. The breeder harrumphed, "You keep saying that, but at the end of the day, I can barely lift my feet. I also have to hold back all day from cursing at the Alpha; he does everything to frustrate me. Yesterday, he threw fruits at me while I was close to the top of the short tree he chose for me. I fell, but he said it’s my fault for falling."“Calm down, my lady. I’m sure he had a pretty good reason for that,” Xoey softly said, but Bellatrix scoffed.“What reason other than to bully me? He just likes seeing me looking more miserable than a cat in the rain.”“It’s okay,” Xoey soothed, but her mistress

As he walked, pack members drew notice. And many were stunned. Just the first day of training, and the breeder had successfully gotten the Alpha to carry her like this? They didn't dare form a crowd to have heated discussions, though.Bellatrix felt embarrassed, so she kept her gaze on his chest. At least it looked appetizing. She could feel her cheeks getting heated."Is it sturdy enough?" Came the Alpha's voice."Yes,"It's not like she could successfully lie about it."Then, it's time for a ride," he smirked, though she didn't see that; some pack members did. Before long, Killian was already sprinting towards the woods. The guards at the pack's entrance gate did not waste time opening the gates for him. They went down on one knee and bowed with their right hands across their chest. "Greetings, Your Majesty," they yelled in concert.Killian paused after he'd run past the gate. "Rise," he told them in an authoritative tone."Thank you, Alpha," they chorused again and uniformly rose,

Bellatrix steeled herself and answered, “Good day, sir. The Alpha is busy right now. Please call back in a thousand days,”On the other end, Anslan was stunned. How come a woman was the one who answered Alpha Killian’s phone? And did he find her voice sounding vaguely familiar? What did she mean by saying he had to call back the line in almost 3 years?“Miss, who are you?”“That’s none of your business, sir. Until the set time, please don’t bother the Alpha, unless, of course, you’re tired of living.”“You… how dare…”Bellatrix cut him off, “Have a horrible day, sir.” With that, she ended the call and placed the phone on the desk. Then she turned to face Anslan, eyes reddened, “Sir, I’ve handled the call. Is it to your satisfaction?”The Alpha nodded, “Yeah, you did well.”“I’ll be taking my leave then. Please excuse me,” Without waiting for her mate’s words, she pivoted on her heel and made her exit from the office.Behind her was her puzzled mate. He wondered what made her act that
