Chapter 5

It was crowded inside, and many reporters were surrounding the handsome little boy who was playing the piano on the stage. They were taking photos of him.

And it was a nationwide broadcast today!

Arturo had recently become a famous genius and received the attention of the entire country.

Marilyn looked at her son with a smile.

Arturo was dressed formally today. He wore a small black suit with a bow. His hair was slightly fluffy and he looked even more handsome and elegant when playing the piano.

She had three children, Dominic Chapman, Arturo Chapman, and Laverne Chapman. They brought her endless good luck.

She raised the three children without a husband. Most girls couldn't stand it and were even more afraid of gossip, so they would choose to send the children away.

When she was pregnant, she was also afraid.

But it was only for a moment. She had no family, and she didn't even have many friends.

The children in her belly had become her only hope and family, so she chose to keep the children. When she knew she was pregnant with triplets, she was shocked, but she was quickly filled with happiness.

This was a blessing for her to be so lucky to have triplets.

At that time, she decided to keep the babies. No matter how difficult it was, she would have the courage to go on with her babies.

"Lynn, Roland!" Not far away, Jeannie Harrison was wearing a red tight dress. Her slender legs looked sexy.

Her red hair was curly. Her face was delicate and charming. Her temperament was unique. She walked toward them with a bright smile.

Jeannie was the one who had hit her.

What a coincidence.

Jeannie took good care of Marilyn and her children so that they could go this far.

Now, Jeannie was the godmother of the three children and also Arturo's agent.

Jeannie looked at Marilyn from afar and smiled. Her smile was so brilliant as if Marilyn was a cash cow.

"Marilyn, you are so lucky! You gave birth to such a cash cow for me. When Arturo's beautiful music rang out, the audience burst into applause. Moreover, the song was written by him. Its name was My Mother."

Marilyn was deeply touched!

She glanced at her son on the stage and smiled dotingly!

Arturo was talented in piano.

Marilyn immediately turned around and looked at Jeannie unhappily. "Jeannie, I don't get it. Roland is so handsome. Why do you want to make my son popular, not Roland?"

Roland instantly put on a heartbroken expression and pleaded. "Lynn, give me a break. I like fashion design and make money from women."

"Brat, do you think it's easy money?" Jeannie glared at her handsome younger brother. It was such a waste for him not to enter showbiz.

Jeannie wanted to make his younger brother popular too, but Roland refused. He only wanted to focus on his career.

Now, he was the richest man in the city. He only trusted Marilyn.

Roland glanced at Marilyn, narrowed his eyes, and said, "Ask Lynn if it is easy money or not. With Lynn's popularity, the clothes she designed are expensive.

"What a pity! Lynn is a traitor. She doesn't work for the Harrison Group. Instead, she chose the branch company of the Lowe Group. I should have worked harder so that our company would be worthy of Lynn."

Frowning, Marilyn's red lips pouted slightly. "Roland, what are you saying? You know that I work at the Lowe Group for some other reasons."

She would have a chance to buy the shares of Chambers Enterprise at the Lowe Group. She wanted to take revenge.

Roland looked at Marilyn with his deep eyes.

He felt sorry for Marilyn.

A warm applause sounded, attracting the attention of the three.

Jeannie smiled and said, "Let's go. Forget about these unhappy things. Let's go and watch Arturo play the piano."

Roland held Marilyn's and Jeannie's hands. They walked towards the seats not far away.

They were in the Saffron Spice Kitchen.

People were pleased by the light music in the luxurious private room.

Dishes had been served on the table. However, Malcolm didn't eat them but drank wine.

The contest in which Arturo participated was broadcast on the television on the wall. Julian watched it with great interest.

He was immersed in the smooth music and drank the wine.

However, Malcolm had no interest in these variety shows.

He had traveled all over the world to search for Carolyn these years.

He had searched for her in one city after another, but he still failed to find her.

He would miss Carolyn more when he saw familiar eyes occasionally. But he still didn't get any information about her.

On that night, heavy rain washed everything, even the place where Carolyn had an accident, clean.

The only thing left behind was the lollipop she wanted to give him.

Carolyn always stayed by his side when he was depressed and unhappy. No matter how he drove her away, she would accompany him until he was cheered up.

"Malcolm, this is a strawberry-flavored lollipop. It's very sweet. You won't feel sad anymore after you eat it. You will only feel happy." Carolyn's soft and pleasant voice often echoed in Malcolm's ears.

Carolyn's clear and clean big eyes were so lively that seized people's attention.

Malcolm, a man who didn't have a sweet tooth, also loved eating the strawberry lollipop.

He put some strawberry lollipops at home and in his car. Eating the lollipop would give him a sense of happiness.

Malcolm sat on the chair lazily. The brilliant lights made his handsome eyes look deeper. He raised his head and drank another glass of wine.

Whenever he was alone, he prayed in his heart that he could find Carolyn as soon as possible.

He also hoped to find his mother.

He couldn't be happy anymore without them.

Malcolm was completely immersed in his world.

He wasn't affected by Julian, the sounds from the television, or the vibration of his cell phone.

The host shouted excitedly on the television.

"Congratulations to Arturo on winning the National Championship with the song 'My Mother'."

After the warm applause, Arturo's handsome face was magnified on the television, brimming with a happy smile.

When Julian looked at Arturo, he felt that the face was familiar to him.

He knocked on the table lightly. "Malcolm, look at this little boy. Have you seen him before?"

Julian didn't pay much attention to Arturo before. After all, Arturo was a child. No one could predict the future, especially in the entertainment circle.

However, Arturo won first place in the piano competition today with a song he wrote himself. He had a promising future. Only then did Julian take Arturo seriously.
