Hayden’s P.O. V

The glaring orange lights of the setting round sun graced my office. What would have once been the epitome of my day, now was just a nuisance to my rather uneventful day. The stack of documents that had been waiting for my mark of approval mockingly stared back at me, at my lack of attention. I haven't been able to get anything done, since the last week.

Her words replaying mockingly inside my head, adding salts to my already bruised ego. ' Huh!' 'So this was how it felt to be rejected.' I scoffed, recalling how I even downgraded myself by begging her to sleep with me, even went as far as doubling her offer, not that she was worth that much. I have gone out with famous and the most stunning of women, slept with the top models and actresses, have them at my beck and call yet, out of all these stunning women, I chose to be a wuss for her, a nobody.
