He dropped June's lifeless body to a corner and gave me a smirk. "Do not touch her" kelvin and lex said at a time. He kept moving towards me I closed my eyes expecting the worst to happen. "And they will pay," Yung said and I turned my head to look at him."I will teach you and your friends how to fight, Destiny," he added."Really?" I smiled."Come on, the food is ready," he said, leaving my room as I followed him from behind.The dining room was big and had a long table with twelve seats. I sat down beside Kelvin. Since we got here, Kelvin wasn't smiling, and none of us could smile because of what happened to June and Nixton. Everything happened so fast. We learned that our master was a demon serving Lucifer. Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. Our training was having a good effect on our lives. I hadn't fought a demon yet, but I knew that the demon who killed June and Nixon wouldn't stand a chance against me. On the other hand, Camila was still finding it hard to accept the fact that Nixon and June were dead. None of us could accept it. I loved them both. We needed to train for six months before resuming our journey back. Mr. Yung trained us well and encouraged us to believe that we could end demons for good. I lay in bed, unable to sleep, with Lana and the other thoughts from my past swirling through my mind. It occurred to me that she couldn’t be me, as she was over 100 years old, and I couldn't breathe underwater. Kelvin and I were pretty close, but his sudden change and working himself to death was okay.
