Chapter 20: Truth

"And they will pay," Yung said and I turned my head to look at him.

"I will teach you and your friends how to fight, Destiny," he added.

"Really?" I smiled.

"Come on, the food is ready," he said, leaving my room as I followed him from behind.

The dining room was big and had a long table with twelve seats. I sat down beside Kelvin. Since we got here, Kelvin wasn't smiling, and none of us could smile because of what happened to June and Nixton. Kelvin looked like someone who was ready to kill.

Camila, on the other hand, looked pitiful. She loved Nixton, but they didn't have much time to express their feelings for each other.

I felt pity for her and myself. Immediately, Yung's wife came with a big piece of meat. We greeted her, and she replied politely, telling us to dig in and take some rest.

I ate with a full appetite. I hadn't eaten for days, maybe three or four days. As I ate the delicious meal, I just felt maybe I should start leaving here and forget about the whole mission thing.
