The rest of the guys just stared in shock as thy Watched me sob over Kevin's body. They finally snapped out of the shock abd helped me to carry kelvin out of the forest and into the academy. Just then, when I looked through the gates, I saw Manny coming out from the woods.
We took him to the academy hospital and waited for the nurse to attend to him.
"He's going to be fine" the nurse told us with a kind smile before leaving the room.
"Is he a werewolf?" I heard Manny ask beside me and I turned my head towards her and raised a brow at her. Before I could give her a sarcastic response, Frex beat me to it.
"What those it look like?" frex replied and a small smile formed on my lips.
"He is the son of master. Is master a werewolf?" June asked and I wondered the same.
" I dunno, June" I mumbled, holding Kevin's hand in mine.
"You most really be close, huh" Manny said and I nodded even though it wasn't true.
The nurse came in at that moment and I moved away from Kelvin so she could check him. "He will be awake within two to three hours" the nurse said and ten left again.
"I'll Be on my way now" manny said and with a nod, she left the ward.
"Will you be OK all by yourself?" june asked me with a frown.
"Yeah" I mumbled curtly and gave her a reassuring nod.
The all left the room one after the other and I was soon all alone with Kelvin. I rest my head on the bed next to Kevin's chest and didn't know when I slept off.
~~~~~~
"Destiny, destiny" I heard a voice say but I just groan and turned my head to the other side. I soon felt a hand touching my face softly then I woke up to see kelvin looking at me with a smile
"How you feeling" I asked rubbing my eyes lid and suppressing a yawn. God, i still feeling sleepy.
"I'm OK...." He mumbled then looked around. "But how did I get here?" he asked.
"You don't remember?" I asked frowning and putting a few strands of white hair behind my ear.
"No I don't" he replied curtly
"You almost attacked us in your werewolf form" I told him looking at him straight in the eyes. "In the woods" I added and his eyes widen but he said nothing.
His silence went on for about five minutes and I became worried. "Kelvin you OK?" I asked him and he nodded his head and stood up from the bed.
"I can't control myself when I turn into a werewolf. So every night, I leave the academy to transform." he said with a sigh. "I knew what I did now, but why did you leave the academy" he asked with his head tilted sideways.
"Don't worry about that" I told him brushing his question away. "How many of you exist?" I asked, curious to know about the beasts as it was told that all werewolves died about seventy years ago.
" you mean werewolves? Well, I'm the only one remaining. The are all dead" he replied sadly. Although I was expecting him to say that, I still felt pity for him.
It couldn't have been easy being the last of your kind.
"So your dad isn't a werewolf?" I asked curiously.
"Yeah. But mom is. Dad told me the are all dead" he said
"And you believe him?" I asked with a frown because that didn't sound right.
"Well yeah..." he mumbled with a chuckle.
"Thanks for staying throughout the night" he added and gave me a quick hug.
"I was just curious that all. Don't feel to big" I winked at him and he laughed.
"Whatever"
When the nurse came back to check up on him, she told him that he was free to go and we left the room. As well walked through the hall, I couldn't help but glance at Kelvin and think that they were more werewolves out there.
We bid our goodbye as Kelvin left to meet up with master and I just continue heading back to my room.
I released a sigh as I took slow steps to my dorm and my mind jumped to Lex. I haven't seen him since he left the training ground.
When I opened the door, I saw Rachel talking to someone and when he turned his head, it turned out to be Lex.
What was he doing here? I thought.
"Hey Rachel" I mumbled to my friend then turned to look at Lex.
"What you doing here?" I asked curiously and he scoff.
Well, Okay...
"I came here to see you" he replied and I could hear the giggles of Rachel behind us.
"Do you mind if we train together this afternoon? we only have seven more days left for master to pick who will go for war" he said as he place both hands into his jean pocket.
"I thought we are gonna fight to get chosen?" I asked him. "That's why we need training" he replied more like his getting annoyed of answering my questions already.
"But why do you want to train with me anyways?" I giggled like a middle school girl feeling happy that he asked me to train with him
"Never mind " he said turning towards the door and my heart dropped.
"Hey wait up. I'll be there" I giggled hoping that he would still train with me.
"Whatever" he mumbled as he pulled the door open.
" Wait!" I said, stopping him from leaving again and he released a sign of frustration.
"What?"
"Where have you been since all this while?" I asked him and he turned his head slightly to look at me.
"Home" That was the only word he said, before I could ask more questions he pulled the door and left.
I flopped down on my bed and let out a sigh, we all need training I thought.
I saw Rachel winking and giggling at they same time. "You like him huh" she smiled at me and I scoffed.
" no" I replied curtly.
"Liar, its obvious" she mumbled wiggling her brows.
"I don't " I defended and Rachel rolled her eyes.
"Let's go to the hall, everyone is there. Meeting" she said as she got up from her bed and moved towards the door a d i followed behind her.
We went to the hall and everyone were there seated on a seat and I couldn't find a free seat for I and Rachel.
Rachel tapped me lightly when she found one and we quickly went there before it gets taken by others. We sat patiently and waited for what master was going to say.
He went up stage with a microphone in his hand. Master cleared his throat and the whole room went silent.
"As you can see everyone. Demons are now finding their way through the magical bubble that is protecting us and other people out there." Master started saying and we all listened.
"Thousands of people are dying because of those beast out there. This place is not longer save. And I need up to six people out of the one hundred and eleven student here, three girls and three boys. So three days from now we are having a competition to see the best fighters. And I want to pair two people to train together.
Your numbers will determine the person you will be paired with if you pick number one and another pick number two you will have to train together." He said and everyone looked at each other.
"So everyone, come closer and pick your numbers" he added pointing to a black box.
We all stood and started picking a small ball from the black box.
"My number is thirty" I mumbled turning to look at Rachel.
"So everyone please I need you all to call out your number loudly to know who your partner is" master said.
Everyone called out their number and its was my turn.
"Number thirty" I said loudly and the next person which is number thirty one turned out to be Lex.
I gasped in shock. And happy at they same time.
Lex is going to be my partner I thought
Rachel was paired with Manny. The crazy bitch who turned out to be nice a day and rude the next day.
I saw lex giving me a sly winked and I turned back my head blushing real bad.
I walked out of my kingdom, sword in hand, with Beelzebub at my side. The city had scattered, demons feasting on helpless humans. Knights stood behind us as I screamed, "Attack!" They rushed forward, engaging in battle.Entering the chaos, a massive demon approached. Two horns adorned its head, and a tail snaked behind—a grotesque and intimidating sight."The great ice princess has lost her powers. How can you fight now? I will kill you this moment," the demon taunted, advancing. In response, I used my sword to sever its right leg, causing it to fall in pain.I thrust my sword into its head, blood splashing across my forehead.Immediately, a sharp pain shot through me as a demon used its long nails to dig into my back, blood streaming from my mouth. Despite the agony, I retaliated, thrusting my sword into its stomach from behind. Turning around, I faced the fallen demon, swiftly cutting off its head.Holding my bleeding stomach, I surveyed the battlefield. The demons I had killed vani
The others rushed over as demons surrounded us, chaos unfolding. Unable to handle the onslaught, Beelzebub teleported us away before Lucifer could strike.Now in a forest, Kelvin and I carefully laid Camila against a tree, her neck still bleeding."I should call for help," Beelzebub suggested, and I nodded in agreement. He went to seek assistance, explaining that the magic porter couldn't cross the ocean."Guys," Camila's weak voice called. We gathered around, holding her hands."I think this is my end," she said, coughing blood."Don't say that. Help is coming; everything will be okay," I reassured with a forced smile."We can't lose another person," I added."Hang in there, please," June pleaded."Promise me you will end this war for all the innocent lives, revenge your mother, and revenge us," Camila weakly requested.Tears fell uncontrollably; wiping them away, I wondered how I could end the war without my powers."Why are you saying this? You can't die; you'll be fine," I insiste
"Don't you dare touch her," Kevin's voice echoed from behind me, his sword dripping with blood.Lucifer laughed mockingly. "I have taken away her powers, so you can have her. She's useless now," he said, dropping me on the floor, and I felt as if all my bones had broken. Weakness consumed me, and I sensed something vital had been taken away.Kevin helped me to my feet, and I gazed at the others, noticing concern written all over their faces. June walked up to me, scrutinizing me as if I had something on my face."What's wrong, guys? Why are you looking at me as if I have something on my face?" I asked weakly."Your hair, it's no longer white; it's black now," she said, and I ran my hands through my hair.The laughter of Lucifer brought me back to reality. "Your powers are gone for good," he said. I raised my hands, attempting to use my ice powers, but nothing came out. The emptiness I felt now made sense – I had nothing left inside of me.I tried to hold back tears, but I couldn't. I
Before I could say anything again, Kelvin transformed into his wolf form, breaking the chain due to his large size and creating a distraction. Camila seized the opportunity to run toward me.I held her hand, bringing her closer to me. Now, Kelvin and Camila were safely standing with us.Lucifer, still emotionless, suddenly burst out into loud laughter."Do you think you can escape from here? Do you even know where you are? Try looking outside, princess," he smirked, raising his hand to point to the window opposite us.I walked to the window, my eyes fixed on him, and then I gazed outside.I gasped in shock, unable to believe my eyes. It was a dead end, and it was dark. There was no light, and I couldn't see anything outside. The sky wasn't blue but rather a deep red in color, something I had never seen before.I attempted to look again and saw some white hands, as if they were trying to wave. I couldn't quite understand what they were, and the darkness made it difficult to see clearly
I continued running on the water's surface, creating ice with every step. The waves and cold breeze brushed against my skin, and the ocean's surface tried to pull me under, but I instantly froze it and ascended. I could see the exit; I was almost there. A smile spread across my face, knowing that nothing could hinder me now.I was aware that Beelzebub might be watching from a distance, or perhaps, he had lost sight of me because I had covered a great distance.Now, I stood at the edge of the ocean, stepping onto the dry land. It wasn't sandy but rocky beneath my feet. I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride.My eyes searched for the others, but they were nowhere to be found. Annoyance welled up within me; they couldn't have left without me. Just as I was about to turn back, a powerful force struck me, knocking me to the ground. I fell onto the hard, bare rock, my head making a painful impact, and I lost consciousness.****I tried moving my left hand, but it felt stiff, just like t
Seething with anger, I occupied my throne, plagued by the regret of letting her go. I was convinced she wouldn't survive the treacherous ocean. My palms sweated, and I found myself tapping the ground impatiently with my foot.Suddenly, the door burst open, and one of my men entered, his demeanor visibly solemn."My lord," he began, his voice laced with apprehension. "They safely passed through the portal," he informed me, and I nodded in response, using my hand to dismiss him.Soon after, Sophie entered, her expression marred by a deep frown. She wasted no time in voicing her displeasure."I thought you loved her," she said, anger radiating from her every word."You know the ocean means death, and she can't make it. You're weak, Beelzebub, incapable of fighting for your love, just sitting here, watching her die," she said, her words stinging with anger.I gritted my teeth in annoyance and retorted, "Watch your tongue, or I might assist you in cutting it off." Sophie, unfazed, simply r
