Chapter 5

WILLIAMS STALLION VILLA

HIS BATHROOM

Williams ran his hands through his wet hair, pushing all his hair to the back as the water drizzled down from the shower to his body, removing the wet hair sticking to his face.

Sigh

He rested his palm on the bathroom wall with his head faced down. He then faced up and punched the wall several times.

Gahhh

Things weren’t supposed to be like this

He thought everything was going well until Lucy tried to insert her energy into him and due to reflex action he blocked it thereby causing her to become suspicious and therefore, hostile.

Williams came out from the bathroom with his towel draped around his waist. His six packs glistened as drops of water slowly ran down, landing on his mermaid line which slightly peeked out from the towel causing the scene to be very....mesmerizing.

He put on his pyjamas, ready to jump to bed on his king sized bed and think about his next line of action when his room doorbell rang.

Ding dong

“Come in”

A maid opened the door and walked in, her face faced down

“Master, young master Jason is here”

‘Why is he here? Should I tell him to come here or I should go meet him. Mehhh I’m too lazy'

“Tell him to come here”

“okay master”

The maid closed the door and left.

A minute later the door opened

“ You lazy thing” Jason said as he jumped on Williams bed

Williams kick him off the bed with his legs “ who let you jump on my bed? “

“ You have to compensate me for making me come to your room when you could have just met me in the parlour” Jason climbed the bed again “ I’m really tired okay lemme just lie down for a bit “

“ I’ve found her” Williams said slowly

“Who? “ He was too tired to think about who Williams was talking about

“The girl who saved me three years ago” Williams smiled “ Lucy”

Jason did not know what to say, he didn’t know whether he should congratulate Williams for finally finding the one who saved him or he should finally tell him the emotions that had pent up for years in his heart.

He choose the former

“Congrats Williams. Phew, it was about time. I was already thinking of finding a new job after you fired me and my team if we eventually didn’t find her” Jason laughed lightly

William patted Jason’s cheek and smiled at him “ Jason, just so you know, you are really important to me okay, so if I’d fire the others I will never fire you cause I don’t really know what I’ll do without out you and that’s why you are currently on my bed without your body torn to pieces”

“ You are talking as if we didn’t snuggle when we were kids “ Jason scoffed

Williams ohh Williams, how could he not understand what Williams was implying in his sentence. He was telling him that though he was important to him but that doesn’t mean he should cross his boundaries or he will be literally torn to pieces.

“We weren’t kids we were teenagers and besides it’s you who wanted to snuggle with me because you were afraid of the dark” Williams rolled his eyes “scaredy cat”

Jason smiled, he wished that time could just freeze he didn’t want to share Williams with anyone, especially that Lucy

“So why did you come here? “Williams asked, bringing Jason out from his thoughts

Jason face palmed, he had almost forgotten why he came here in the first place. He frowned “ Williams it seems someone is investigating you, I’ve been trying to stop the person but the person is pretty good”

“ohh so she acted fast” Williams rested his palm on his cheeks

“ is it Lucy? “

“Ohhh, good riddance you’ve grown smarter”

“Why does she want your information? “

Williams smirked “ because I lied to her that I had a friend that was among the victims who died and she obviously doesn’t believe me”

‘Since she is special then she must have been sent by the specials agency to investigate the case of the strange deaths'

Jason’s frown became deeper “ so should I give her access to your information? and should I falsify the information concerning your friends, adding one of the victim as one of your friends? “

“ Give her the basic information about me being an orphan and a student and don’t falsify the information concerning my friends “

“why? If you don’t falsify it and she finds out that you were lying, her suspicion will increase”

Williams smirk grew wider

That was exactly what he wanted

THE NEXT DAY

NETHERLAND UNIVERSITY

Lucy carried her backpack over her shoulder and walked into the lecture Hall lazily. The agency had prepared a fake identity as transfer student coming into the forensic department of Netherland university for her so that it will be easier for her to investigate and also because a huge number of the victims were somewhat related to the University.

Lucy scanned the lecture Hall and found an empty seat at the back of the Hall and she went there quietly.

The noise in the hall became louder as someone came in

“Hey Williams “

“Party tonight”

“Are you done with Prof Kendrick project? ”

Lucy looked at the direction of the noise and saw Williams “ now I’m pretty sure he is stalking me”

Williams looked at her direction and their eyes locked. Williams flashed her a smile and waved at her. He broke out of the crowd surrounding him and went up to her “ Hey, I didn’t expect you to be student here and more shockingly, the forensic department “

Lucy looked at him and couldn’t help but feel that he looked somewhat familiar, like they’ve met years before.

“Hey do you remember me, it’s me Williams from yesterday” Williams had to say this, seeing that she was unresponsive

‘It seems that the energy successful got his memory distorted seeing that he is talking freely with me with no hint of fear”

“I remember you”

Williams smile widened and his pearly white teeth was shown” that’s great, I thought that you had already forgotten me. So are you a new student because I’ve never seen you here before “

“I’m a transfer student “

“Ahh that’s good, I’m the best student in this department maybe I can.... “

“No thanks” she cut him off

He wasn’t simple and she didn’t want to have anything to with him

“ But friends are supposed to help each other”

“When did I become your friend? and when did I ever say that I needed your help?“ Lucy gave him a questioning look

“Am I annoying? “ He stared at her firmly

“Isn’t it obvious? Please stop disturbing me”

“You could have just said that in the first place, sorry for disturbing you “ He walked away like he didn’t care but how could Lucy miss the eyes that threatened to turn red from tears.

‘ is he really just a simple boy or is he truly dangerous ‘

Beep

Lucy picked up her phone

‘One new message from Rina'

Lucy clicked on it and saw a document and she opened it.

It was the information on Williams

Lucy quickly read through it

‘So he lied. None of his friends are among the victims'

Why did he lie?

Did he purposely try to get close to me?

What was he doing at the crime scene? Was he following me?

What are his true intentions?

‘it seems I have to get closer to him to find out'

She looked at the boy who had separated him self from the others and was sitting beside the window, looking outside dejectedly

‘Shit I just sent him off rudely, how would i get close to him now? ‘
