A Midnight Wedding

Instead of taking me to the bed, the devil headed to the bathroom as I asked confused, “Aren’t we going to the bed?”

He laughed at my bluntness while shaking his head, “No, but if you’re too desperate,” I looked away feeling embarrassed.

“I didn’t mean like that,” I murmured slowly.

“I know,” The devil said and then nuzzled my nose in a comforting way, for a moment I was completely lost in his affection and care. He isn’t a bad creature but people won’t accept him no matter what.

They would always see him as a devil, no matter what I say.

I snuggled in his arms quietly and soon I fell asleep. I didn’t know what he did to me after I fell asleep. I didn’t mean to sleep but I don’t know why instead of being a devil, I always felt secure in his embrace.
