chapter 10

“Hey" i said to him and giving him a smile  in return he nodded and directly looked into my eyes. I diverted my eyes and looked here and there. I feel his eyes on me. The silence covered us speaking the unsaid words. He wanted to speak something and I hope  it's not those words which I intended to hear but also feared to  not to.

My friends went from there,

Please don't say those words which are meant for me a lot but I can't reciprocate those words because I want you to be happy. I don't deserve you, nobody deserves a person like me,  Zian please.

"Elsa" He said in his soft voice I put my all holds on me to not look at him.

He again said to me changing tone in more casual

"So today is your presentation, how's your preparation?”

"It's good but I'm nervous" I said to him, huffing to hear his casual tone.

I looked at him from the side eyes,  he took a step forward, making a little gap between us. My heartbeat is getting faster.

"Elsa, why are you ignoring me?" he said, making me look at him. His eyes show a lot of emotions for me. Love, affection, care, hurt.

"No, I'm not" I said, not looking directly in his eyes. I try to hide sadness in my voice. 

"You are. Elsa, I know we have mutual feelings for eachother and it's not good to hide it. Especially from us." he said frustrated. He likes me a lot which makes me more weak  for him but I have to deny from my feelings for his good.

His voice was so promising I believed him. But how I told him that I don't deserve him. I don't want to see him fighting my demons which are hell black and scary.

"Zian please don't say that. Please I can't." I said, tears well up from my eyes, my voice clogged. Please God stop him. I can't be selfish here and ruin his life.

"Elsa Listen please don't cry I can't see you like this. We know we have feelings and I am always with you no matter what. But it hurts me seeing us like this. I wanted to cherish you and please don't snatch this  from me, at least those small talks." He said making my heart welled up with grateful feelings.

Shit I can't say to him out loud how I wanted to hug him tightly and say  thank you for these words. He looks at me with loving eyes and I can't tell him how his eyes promised me every word he said.

"Zian please I can't. I don't want to give you any false hope. I care about your feelings and that's why I tried to distance myself but........" I said to him trying to pick every word  carefully so I didn't hurt him but he cut me between and said

"Please Elsa, can we be like that, how  we talk, we look at each other. It feels so good. I don't want to pressurized you to make any decisions here because we have enough time for that. Right now you focus on your study and yourself and please don't ever try to ignore me......." he said with so much easiness that create a well known feeling in me "and if next time you ignore me I barge into your house at midnight."

He said mischievously, looking at me, making us laugh. We talked for some more minutes and laughed our hearts out and then we both went for our classes.

My three best friends  impatiently waiting for me in class to spit out everything. First I gave them good advice to not leave me in any awkward condition but then I gave them full news. They looked at me surprisingly

"That's the most long conversation that you both had," Lily said, first making me realize this thing. 

"We write this date in golden words in Elsa’s dating history" Sam said dramatically.

"Yes,,, even though they both are the same , at least he tried to convey his feelings to her, something not like her," Ron said but received a slap from me on his shoulder.

"At least I know and let be known that I like someone not like others" I said looking at Ron who gave me narrowed eyes treatment but I don't scare from him

Kim and her minions pulled some jokes and gave some comments on our side but I told them to ignore them otherwise we all gave presentations in the principal's office.

Soon teachers came and we all busy in giving our presentation. They all praise my work very well and thankfully I gave it with full confidence.

"Darling you rock it." Lily and Sam said at the same time, smiling.

"Thanks" I said but soon we all classmates gathered and they all praised my work and we all busy in our small talk.

But to my surroundings it became different. I get different vibes like someone looking at me or staring at me but I'm not uncomfortable. It settled an uncertain feeling in me.

"Why is there so much security"? Sam asked as we all came out of our building.

"Wow, so much security. Is something important happening here?" Lily said as we are all busy with our work we don't know about our surroundings.

"These are Volkov's security," Ron said, making me chilled looking at those dangerous guards with guns and a scary look.
