Devil's Innocent Queen

Author's pov 

Somewhere in the dark three cars stopped in front of a warehouse.  A tall handsome man came out from his black Mercedes wearing black shirt and grey pants. He has a dark aura around him making anyone gulp in fear. His guards descended from two other cars. 

The tall man was none other than Aiden Volkov, the king of the Mafia. Every single person who knows his real identity is terrified after seeing him. He went into the warehouse after him, his guards taking steps cautiously making no sounds. He hates the footsteps of others. 

Horrific noises came from the warehouse. Aiden went into a room and a devil smirk appeared on his face. The room walls are filled with blood stains. The smell of blood mixes with sand making it more disgraceful. 

Aiden stood in front of a man who was tied upside down with chains. His face is covered with blood because of the hard beating by the guards. His body became unconscious due to heavy blood loss.

Aiden's tall frame covered him half; he came near him and clutched his hairs in his tight grip. 

"Open your eyes, bastard........what you think that you have the audacity to kill The Aiden Volkov and he let you kill...........you are such a fool" Aviansh said in his dangerous cold high tone which boomed in the warehouse. 

The man hissed in pain but before he said anything Aiden beat him with a iron rod making red blood mark on his body. The man was a professional shooter who came to kill him but his bad luck Aiden got information about him and caught him before he left a scratch on Aiden's body. 

"Please please don't kill me...." The man shouted his lungs out but his voice was sounding low in front of his rage.

Aiden gave the iron rod to one of the guards and he handed him a dagger. Aiden put the dagger near the man's throat and slowly made a cut. It muffled his voice. 

"Fucking tell me the name" Aiden hissed giving him last chance to tell everything but he didn't tell anything. 

"I.....I.......don't know.....they gave me your information........to kill you.......I don't know them............please........let me goooo" the man hardly said words because the dagger went deeper by Avinash.

"Sure I let you go......by your grace" Aiden said with a devil smirk and put the dagger deep in his throat making a pool of blood on his face. Some minutes later the man was done with his life.

A guard gave a cloth to Aiden to clean the blood from his hand. He took and cleaned his hands and came outside of the warehouse. He saw the sky dark, totally dark like his life. He got in his car and drove to Volkov Mansion.

He had everything in his life: money, fame, name, a loving family, everything but something is missing. He felt it but didn't say it loud. Do these feelings belong to someone? If it is yes but Aiden didn't accept it because for him love is a prohibited feeling. He saw his parents' loveful life. They both had a love marriage and their love bloomed with days, growing and deepening with time but Aiden had feelings that he isn't  that lucky in his life to find that type of selfless love in this world. It's hard to find a love who takes care of you, not your money. Aiden saw his friends in love or just to pretend to be in love because they need the name fame money game. He never wants a girl who loves him for money. Also his dark world doesn't allow him to fall in love and gives all his enemies his weak point. Everyday a new enemy came and tried to kill him but his sharp eyes and wits made a forward move and killed those plans before rising.

Aiden came to Volkov Mansion at midnight. He calls his mother Cynthia to not to wait for him and sleep on time. When he came into Mansion darkness welcomed him obviously everyone was sleeping at this time. He went into the kitchen and took his food to his room which was on the second floor, almost half of the second floor book for Aiden and no one allowed in his room and study. Whole Volkov Mansion has a digital security lock and no one knows the password of his room and study apart from his mother. 

He had his food between reading files. He had half of his dinner and when he was exhausted he laid on bed and soon sleep engulfed him.

Aiden's pov

Sunday means no office, only family time,  it's a rule made by my mom Cynthia. But   I'm exception here. In the middle of a meeting, Mom calls me  for breakfast but I refuse saying I'm not hungry but she sends me breakfast in my study. She knows that I am trying to hide from their questions so I didn't attend breakfast or dinner with them. 

Yes, from the past two years they forced me to marry but I'm their stubborn child who refuses everytime. First they thought that I had someone in my life but I clearly told them that I didn't want to get married. After that they were adamant to make me agree for marriage.

I'm in my study stuck in a meeting which is supposed to end but they didn't agree on my conditions so I keep them busy in talk to  find out their weakness which I use against them to agree on my conditions. Yes it's wrong but it's right for me so it's right for everyone, I don't care.

Meeting finished in the afternoon. I stand up from my chair and stretch my body because I haven't gotten enough sleep for the last few days. It's getting annoying. I checked my phone missed calls from mom and dad and message from mom saying 

"Come in lounge after your meeting....no more discussion" 

It's not a polite message, it's a warning from her so I better go otherwise Mrs Volkov will kill me and her husband can't do anything.

I went to the lounge area where everyone was present: Grandpa, mom, dad, Aaron and Alex. Grandpa and Aaron playing a chess match, Alex played on his phone laying his head on Mom's lap, Dad read the newspaper. I sat beside my Dad's couch. 

"Ohho,,,....the great Aiden Volkov making his appearance in this poor lounge area we are so grateful to you sir" Mom said so sarcastically that everyone burst into laughter.

"Mom, why did you say that? I am here only just  I'm busy in work" I said to her trying to make my point. 

Yes, the last few days have been so hectic for me, work pressure and then the shooter for me who wants to kill me. But I didn't tell all those things to mom, especially about the killer, no one told her about any of our work in the underworld. Dad and Aaron know everything and help me when I ask them otherwise they both handle everything in my absence.

"Yes yes I know your hectic work schedule.  you might handle all business very well but what about your health. You didn't eat well in the past days. Now I have decided that you have to get married." Mom said while dramatically showing her hands In air.

"Yes son, Cynthia is right your health is more important than any other work" Grandpa said while playing chess. 

I saw in their direction they both tried to control their laugh. Something is wrong here.

"That's it, I'm tired from taking care of you. It's high time you get married and that's final" Mom said so dramatically.

Here it is the daily bomb that starts to blast. Why is everyone trying to convince me for just a wedding? 

"Mom, I'm taking care of mine very well but not that wedding topic again please." I said to Mom but it seems like they don't want to hear me. 

I look at Dad, might he help me. He pretends to be engrossed in the newspaper but I know he hears everything. 

"Yes brother Mom is right, why can't you bring us a beautiful sis-in-law. It's not hard though" Alex said, getting off from mom's  lap. 

I gave him my best death glare and he turn his face saying 

"Dad look brother scares me" 

Dad looked towards him and he made a puppy face. Dad put back his newspaper on table with a huff and look towards me 

"You better not show your death glare here." 

"Dad, he is not a kid anymore. And for the wedding question, why don't you think about Aaron's wedding" I said, trying to avoid this topic for a lifetime.

Aaron who engrossed in chess,  his elbow on chair armrest hearing this his elbow slip from there and he said in cracking words 

"No....never. I better be single. And this is your turn not blast the bill on me" 

I know it's a lie because he has a girlfriend whom he loves so much but never talked about her to anyone. It's better that he finds his love. I'm not lucky though in this matter.

"Listen Den we not force you in this matter it's always your opinion matter and last decision is yours" Dad said with determination he settled his arm on couch armrest cross his legs sit comfortably and said further 

"Den, I found a girl for you. She is perfect for you and she belongs to a good family." 

Dad said and put a photo of the girl on the table. Grandpa, Aaron and Alex settled beside us. Grandpa looked so excited no one said that he was the king of the Mafia some years ago. But about Dad's decision I might be shocked that he never put efforts in convincing me for marriage but today he not only tried to  convince me but brought  a proposal for me. 

"Who is this girl Sabestian?" Grandpa asked, looking at the photo. 

"She is Elsa Williams. She's a student and I know her father." Dad said patiently but his face told a different story. He is the man of few words. And there is more which is unsaid by him. Did I bother about it? hell no. I didn't want this proposal but it's the first time Dad brought out the proposal which made it different.

Grandpa just hummed and looked at the photo very carefully. I didn't see that yet. Alex sitting on side of Grandpa and taking the photo in his hands and get up in middle of lounge and shouting dramatically 

"Dad, I knew her she's in my college. Brother if you going to marry her you definitely break lots of hearts" 

"Did you know her? Did you talk to her, Alex?" Mom asked, taking interest in this girl and I sat there rolling my eyes, getting irritated. 

"Everyone knew her,  she's the topper but no, I didn't talk to her. Actually she only talks to her friends and usually at the library or class so...." Alex said, making Mom disappointed. Her face says it all she wanted to know about her.

"Not everyone likes you who only goes to college for fun." Aaron teased him and snatched the photo sitting beside mom. 

They both saw the photo. Mom's eyes shone when she saw that photo. A big smile adorned her face. 

"I like the girl..." and facing me and said 

"Aiden, you have to get married to her. She's so beautiful just like how I imagined my daughter in law."

It all crossed the level of my irritation how everyone said yes to this girl. And why I came downstairs. It would be good if I stayed in my study  but, no I have to come here and now it's hard to deal with it.

"Hello guys......did you miss me?" Silver came shouting excitedly and waving her hand. She's the daughter of dad's Pa. Her mother died when she's two. She came here when her father came and slowly we all siblings bond to her. She's our little sister, our princess. 

She sat beside me and took my hands and laid her head on my shoulder. 

"Hy princess" Grandpa said to her which made her giggle. 

"Silver, did you eat something?" Mom asked her before she reply Alex cut off and said 

"Mom, she only eats brains. You don't need to tension about this chatterbox" 

"Brother, see he teases me." She complained to  me, making cute puppy faces. 

"Alex shut your mouth before I block your cards"  I said to him but they both made different faces to tease each other. 

"By the way, who is in this photo?" Silver asked, looking at the photo in mom's hands. 

"Oo she's is Aiden bro's would be wife" Aaron said

She jumped in excitement and went to sit beside Mom and see the photo. 

"Wow, she's so pretty. I like to call her sis-in-law" 

"That's it I'm going. I'm not going to marry her; end of discussion" I said to everyone without caring about their puppy faces. It's annoying.

"Aiden at least look at the photo. You might like it. And I promise this is last after that I will not tell you to get married" mom said 

"OK then I said no end of discussion." I said hoping to end this marriage topic for lifetime.

"No...Firstly you have to consider this as a final proposal. Think about it and if you like then meet her. After that you tell your decision.......OK we gave you fifteen days you consider it seriously if you like we proceed with it. But if you don't like then I never told you about any marriage proposal" 

Mom said, trying hard to convince me. I looked at Grandpa and then dad. There were different glows in their eyes. 

"OK, I 'll consider it seriously," I said, accepting my defeat.

Mom gave me the photo and I came back to my room trying to get some sleep. It's been a week since I didn't complete my sleep so I decided to sleep the whole day.
