Hailey glared at me. She was fuming mad and I understand where she was coming from. But I was just following what the CEO told me to do.

"Instruction? Do you think I will believe that petty excuse of yours?!" She said.

I almost rolled my eyes. It sucks to be an employee. You are becoming the punching bag of the higher-ups. It's not like I can freely talk back, there's still a limitation in talking back to your boss.
