Chapter 10

The sound of the singing birds woke Calista from her sleep. She opened her eyes and saw sunlight coming in through the window.

She sat up and leaned her back against the head of the bed. She bit her lip as she felt a slight pain around her entrance. She wonders what had happened to her and why does her body feel this weak.

She feels like she had a dream last night, but she can’t remember what she was dreaming and the last thing she remembers is when Vladimir took her to her room and then she went to sleep.

It surprised her when she looked at the clock. It’s seven in the morning. She immediately got out of bed, took a shower to get ready for the campus.

Calista came out of her room and immediately descended the stairs. She was curious when she set foot on the first floor; it was so quiet no one was there. She didn’t see the butler and the maids who were there last night, as if they had all disappeared.
