Evelyn felt something hot press against her back.

Warren pressed his lips all over her body. Every inch of her skin that he kissed felt like it was on fire.

She closed her eyes bitterly and pushed Warren aside. "It's the middle of the day. What are you doing?"

Seeing her teary eyes, Warren's heart ached. "You love children. But because of my carelessness, our child died. I just want to make things up to you."

Evelyn felt a lump in her throat. She forced herself to speak. "Warren, if I—"

She wanted to say, "If I couldn't have kids", but the sound of her phone ringing interrupted her. Seeing that it was Seth calling, she immediately answered.

However, she heard a child's voice instead. "I miss you, Aunt Evelyn."

Evelyn immediately hid her emotions. Smiling, she replied, "I miss you too. Who are you with right now, Albert?"

"I'm with Mom and Dad. Dad is making us breakfast."

Upon hearing this, Evelyn smiled in relief. It seemed like Seth had finally moved on from her and was now
