I can feel it. Things are about to get better between Angela and me. Offering to take her on a date wasn’t on my schedule tonight. As a matter of fact, I had no plans of returning home tonight, but then the moment felt right, and I blurted the dinner date out.

Lucas strutted into the private booth where I’d been for the past hour. I have a meeting with one of our distributors in the next hour, so I can as well wait it out. “Bossman!” He splayed out on the black sofa. “I just received a call from Adam. He has arrived in London.”
