Jasper's POV

I stretched my arms slowly as I woke, my head feeling heavy. I couldn’t remember the last time I truly slept well. When I opened my eyes, the clear blue sky filled my view through the glass wall of the hotel room.

This had become a quiet routine for me. I would disappear to some local bar where no one knew who I was. I always took the elixir my mage made for me, the one that hid my long golden hair until morning. It was the only way to move unnoticed. I usually made sure to wake up before the woman beside me did, to leave without a trace.

But this morning was not like the others. The bed beside me was cold and empty the moment I opened my eyes. If not for the red stain on the white bedsheet, I would have thought it was all just a dream.

“Who was that woman, and what did she do to me?” I muttered under my breath.

I wasn’t the kind of man who slept deeply. Even the smallest movement beside me could wake me. Last night, I remembered holding her close, my arms tight around her slim waist. It made no sense that she could have slipped away without me feeling it.

I reached for my phone and turned it on, the screen’s light cutting through the dim room. I always made it a habit to clean up any trace of my whereabouts before leaving. About twenty minutes passed before a soft knock echoed through the silence.

I froze for a moment, my senses rising. I moved toward the door carefully, checking for anything out of place before I opened it.

“Good morning, Your Majesty,” Ronan, my beta, greeted with a slight bow.

“Find out everything about the woman I was with last night. Go to the bar and check all the cameras. I want to know if she or anyone else put something in my drink,” I ordered.

“I’ll get on it right away, Your Highness,” he replied. Then he hesitated, curiosity creeping into his voice. “If I may ask, did something happen last night?”

“I slept too soundly,” I said, my voice steady but cold. “The woman I was with managed to leave without waking me. You and I both know that’s not possible unless she did something. Find her. I want to know who she is and who she’s working for.”

“I’ll have my men investigate immediately, Your Majesty,” Ronan said. “What about your new bride? What should we do about her?”

His words hit me like a dull reminder. Today was the day the Silvermoore pack would send their tribute. For years, every Alpha under the royal family’s rule had sent their daughters as offerings to keep peace and unity among the packs. In return, their lands were protected from rogues and threats. Refusal was seen as rebellion against the royal lycan, and rebellion meant death—complete destruction of their pack.

No one dared defy the royal house. No one wanted to die.

I never agreed with this tradition, but I was bound by it. I accepted each bride that was sent, playing my part as the law demanded, waiting for one of them to give me an heir. But none ever had. The throne remained without a successor, and the silence of that truth hung over me like a curse that refused to lift.

“Do everything as usual,” I said. “I have more important matters than to babysit a spoiled girl from another pack. Let Alice handle the rest.”

“Yes, Your Majesty. I’ll tell Her Majesty to make the arrangements,” Ronan replied. “Should I inform her to prepare the new bride for the first consummation?”

“That won’t be necessary. I won’t be coming home for a while,” I said. “There have been reports of rogue attacks in the south. I’ll go there myself. I need to know who’s really behind them.”

“Understood, Your Highness. I’ll have our best men ready for the trip,” he said.

“Not this time,” I cut him off. “Stay here. Watch over everything while I’m gone. I’ll handle it alone.”

“As you wish, Your Highness,” Ronan said softly, lowering his head in respect. “I’ll prepare the car. We’ll be waiting outside,” he added before leaving the room.

When silence finally filled my space, I turned toward the bed again. The red stain caught my eye, a cruel reminder of what happened the night before. For a moment, it was like watching flashes of memory on a screen. The warmth of her skin under my hand. Her breath hot against my ear. The sound of her voice breaking in pleasure. The taste of her still lingered on my tongue.

A dull ache stirred inside me. I hated that I missed her. I hated that I wanted more. The need to find her, to claim her again, burned like fire in my veins. Just the thought of her made my chest tighten. A low laugh escaped my lips as I stared down at the red stain again.

“I will surely have her,” I promised myself and walked into the bathroom, trying to wash away the heat that refused to leave me.

LORA'S POV I was still trying to think of a way to escape when a sudden loud bang broke the silence inside the room. The sharp sound cut through the silence and made my whole body jerk in shock. My heart flinched, beating hard and fast, and even the old woman who had been helping me flinched in surprise. The door burst open and slammed against the wall with force. When I lifted my eyes toward the entrance, Arthur stood there. He walked inside slowly and confidently, like a man who believed everything around him already belonged to him. His cold and calculating eyes found me at once. “Hurry up and finish getting her ready,” he said sharply, his voice firm and full of command. “We do not have as much time as I first believed.” The old woman stopped moving for a brief moment. Her head lowered, and her shaking hands continued adjusting the basin of water as though she was trying not to attract his attention. My stomach tightened painfully, and fear spread through my body. Arthur

Lora's POV GET OUT OF HERE!!!The word kept repeating inside my mind again and again. Each passing second made the thought stronger and louder. My instincts, my growing fear, and the deep need to protect the small life growing inside me all pushed me toward a final conclusion. Every part of me understood the only solution. I had to get out of this place.I can't guess what Arthur would do if he discovered that I was carrying the heir of the Lycan King. His sweet words and clever plans meant nothing anymore. I understood him now. If he learned the truth, he would use this child for his own gain, just as he had already used me.But how could I escape? How could I leave this place without anyone noticing? The building was guarded, the doors were locked, and every path looked dangerous. I kept asking myself the same question again and again, searching desperately for an answer that refused to come.“What are you thinking about?”The gentle voice of the older woman broke through my though

  • Discarded by the Alpha, Claimed by the Cursed Lycan king    A Child?

Lora's POV It was already dark when Arthur and I arrived at the place, a very creepy building. The air felt heavy as I stepped out of the car, pressing against my skin and making the moment feel uncomfortable. Even though the weather was humid, a cold shiver ran down my spine and made me tense. My uneasiness grew the moment I looked at Arthur and realized something was different. His usual playful grin, the one he often wore so easily, had disappeared. In its place was a serious and calculating expression that made his face look harder and far more focused than before. The entrance was just a small, rusty door, almost hidden in the grimy, graffiti covered walls. It looked old and worn, blending so well into the dirty surface that it could easily be missed. Arthur stepped forward and knocked twice. After a moment, a tiny panel in the door slid open, revealing a pair of cold, suspicious eyes watching us carefully. Arthur spoke to the person behind the door in low voices for a short

  • Discarded by the Alpha, Claimed by the Cursed Lycan king    Chasing MY Runaway Luna

JASPER'S POV “Tell everyone to gather at the main gate. We will leave in a few minutes,” I said in a hard voice that showed the pressure inside me and the anger I was trying to keep under control. My tone left no space for delay or questions. Beta Ronan nodded immediately without wasting a second, understanding the urgency in my words, and he turned quickly before moving away to carry out my order and inform the others. I walked back and forth across the room, my hands tight at my sides, while the events of last night kept returning to my mind again and again without stopping. No matter how much I tried to focus on the things that needed my attention now, the memory refused to leave. With every passing moment, the anger inside me grew stronger and heavier in my chest. I did not care how it happened or whether Lora wanted it or not, but the moment I saw their lips meet, something deep inside me rose and refused to calm down, and the more I thought about it, the harder it became to

  • Discarded by the Alpha, Claimed by the Cursed Lycan king    A Deal With Danger

A DEAL WITH DANGER LORA'S POV I did not know how long I had been sitting beside the window. I kept looking outside, yet I was not truly seeing what was in front of me. My thoughts had been restless ever since Jasper walked out of the room. His final words kept returning to my mind again and again. The longer I sat there thinking, the clearer something became, and that truth made my chest feel painfully tight. As long as I stayed here, Jasper would never make the choice he truly needed to make. He would not do what had to be done. Not while I was still part of his life. He needed Alpha Oren’s support, and the only way to gain it was by accepting Oren’s conditions. But after everything that happened earlier, it was obvious that Jasper was not going to change his mind, not while he was still trying to shield me. That left me with only one choice. If Jasper refused to take the path he needed to follow, then I would have to decide for him. It hurt to accept that truth, yet I could no

  • Discarded by the Alpha, Claimed by the Cursed Lycan king    Arthur's Wild Game

LORA'S POV I folded my arms across my chest and looked at him with tight eyes. My stare was cold and careful as I studied his face. “Help?” I asked in a low voice that held clear doubt to his words. “Since when do you ever help anyone if you are not hoping to gain something from it later?” My tone held sharp distrust, and I made no effort to hide it. I knew the kind of man he was, and I had never once seen him do anything for free.Arthur’s smile only grew wider as he heard my words. My suspicion did not trouble him at all. He leaned his shoulder against the doorframe in a calm way, acting as if this conversation amused him. “Fair enough,” he replied slowly, his voice relaxed and smooth. “But let us say I am simply protecting what belongs to me. I was worried that the alpha’s feelings for you might make things difficult when the time comes for you to finish your part of our agreement. But now it seems everything is moving in a way that works well for me.”For a moment I blinked at hi
