Chapter 18: Katrina
The week flies by in a blur. Miles is still ignoring me, so I haven't invited him back into my bed, and Aphelion left Wednesday to go and speak with his father. I AM SHOCKED when I open my eyes; you know how the books describe the underworld as dark, devoid of all life, and ransacked by restless souls? Yeah, that’s an outright lie. Once again, I was in awe of the underworld. The archives were set up like a vast library, similar to the one Belle was obsessed with in Beauty and the Beast. The shelves started six inches off the ground and went until they reached the vaulted ceiling.
