10. Look familiar

"WELCOME!" greeted several people who received short hugs from Jayden and a sweet smile from Aria.

"I want to meet my Mom and Dad first," Aria said goodbye to Jayden when her eyes discovered the whereabouts of her father and mother. Jayden just nodded slowly as permission and went back to busy chatting with his colleagues.

"Mom! Dad!" Aria called making the couple turn around to look at Aria.

"Aria! Have you come?" welcomed the mother taking her daughter into her arms.

"Yes, mom. I didn't expect Mom and dad to come."

"Of course we will come. This is an important event for your husband," said Andrew. Aria just nodded slightly. Aria's eyes wandered around again as if looking for someone. "Are Mama and Papa Jayden coming too?" Aria asked, looking back at her parents.

"They're there!" Andrew pointed at his parents who were also busy chatting with several clients.

They waved at Aria for a while and Aria waved back while smiling sweetly.

"Aria... this is Mr Hans Alexander," said Andrew pointing to the man in a silver suit in front of him.

Aria smiled sweetly at the man then stretched out her hand.

"Aria, Jayden's wife," said Aria introducing herself. even though deep down in her heart she just wanted to introduce herself as Aria without the frills of Jayden's wife.

"Hans," said Hans, shaking Aria's hand.

Time seemed to stop there. Aria stared closely at Hans as well as the man.

'Why do I feel like I've seen those jet black eyes somewhere, huh?' Aria's inner self tried to remember again.

The voice, face and even the warm feeling of shaking hands were like Aria had seen and felt it before but she forgot where.

Hans looks familiar. But it felt foreign to Aria. The woman quickly withdrew her hand, breaking the hand and gaze. They didn't even realize that they were the only two living there. Don't know where Aria's father and mother have gone.

'Oh, no. Maybe it's just my feeling.' Aria thought, dismissing the thought.

"Sorry..." Hans said, making Aria turn to him. "Have we met before?" Hans asked.

So, Aria wasn't the only one who felt like she looked familiar? Actually, who is Hans Alexander?

Hans's gaze never left the figure who had just entered the hotel hall.That smile had never changed since the last time they met. What was different was that this time there was no longer the smell of alcohol and incoherent babble coming out of her mouth. What Hans saw was a very elegant and beautiful woman.

Even now that the woman was standing in front of him, Hans was still staring at her in silence. Awestruck.

"Aria... this is Mr Hans Alexander."

Hans finally woke up from his long reverie when the middle-aged man patted him on the shoulder.

"Aria, Jayden's wife," said the woman holding out her hand. Hans snorted slightly. Why did Aria have to mention Jayden's name during their introduction? Just makes him annoyed. However, this did not stop Hans from shaking Aria's hand.

"Hans Alexander," said Hans, smiling so wide that his gummy smile was visible.

Hans noticed the change in Aria's face as soon as they shook hands.

'Did she recognize me?' Hans thought when Aria didn't take her eyes off him. Hans would really be very happy if Aria still recognized him.

But apparently not. The proof was that the woman immediately withdrew her hand and then turned her gaze in another direction.

Hans chuckled slightly. Apparently he expected too much. He then moved to stand beside Aria with a drink in his hand.

"Sorry, have we met before?" Hans asked, making Aria turn around. He handed the fizzy drink to Aria. It's okay if Aria doesn't remember it.

Hans could start from scratch. made a better impression because their last meeting could be said to be quite bad but it made a big impression on Hans' memory.

"Thank you," said Aria, taking the drink and then turning her gaze back to her husband. "I don't think so," Aria answered Hans' question earlier.

"Ah, I see. Maybe it's just my feeling," said Hans while shaking his shoulders. Honestly, Hans felt a little disappointed, making the man immediately sip half a glass of his drink.

"Aria!" Jayden called, approaching Aria and Hans.

"Good evening, Mr Hans!" Jayden said kindly. They shook hands with each other there. Meanwhile, Aria just smiled faintly.

"Good evening. Really the extraordinary party, Mr Jayden," said Hans, making the man smile until his deep dimples could be seen.

"Thank you, sir," said Jayden, feeling very proud to be praised by Hans.

Of course it has to be extraordinary because the person holding this party is Jayden Mattew. It was impossible for the CEO of a large company, the sole heir of the Mattew family, to throw an ordinary party. Is not it?

"And I also just found out that you have a very beautiful wife," said Hans again looking at Aria with a faint smile.

Jayden's smile faded for a moment when he heard Hans' praise for Aria. The man turned to Aria who didn't show any significant expression. Just a faint smile. Even though he felt a little strange, Jayden didn't think too much about it. After all, it's just a compliment.

"Of course. In fact, she just gave birth to our first child." Jayden pulled Aria's waist for a hug. Look! He even made Aria proud.

"Give birth to?" Hans' tone sounded a little surprised.

"Yes, Mr Hans," answered Jayden.

"Wow! What a very happy family. I really envy you, Mr Jayden." The two men then laughed there.

Isn't that the goal of this family? making everyone impressed and jealous of the false happiness they create. Aria chuckled faintly there as if she was laughing at herself.
