“You gonna miss this place?” I asked Dillon as we made our way outside. The house felt strange without all their belongings everywhere. They were moving into my grandfather’s estate tomorrow, so when Dillon suggested we all have one last hurrah at his place, I’d happily accepted the invite.
“Yeah, man. I really am,” Dillon said with a heavy sigh. He cracked a beer and passed it to me. “But the estate is nice. And Cassandra’s happy.”
