I slip into the red fitted dress with thin shoulder straps and gasped, the dress was beyond beautiful and it fits so well, beautifully hugging my curves.

I step out and see Dean, he's waiting for me at the door with a smile on his face and the way he looks at me makes my stomach do flips.

He stood less than two feet away from me, his dark hair was well styled, exposing every magnificent angle of his face.

His black suit jacket was slightly unbuttoned, as well as his white shirt, exposing a subtle part of his chiseled chest, my eyes inadvertently flicker on it for a second, taking in this incredibly handsome man that's all mine.

Then came his deep sultry voice as he takes me in. "You look—incredibly gorgeous, love." He says through gasp, his eyes sweeping all over me. "I just knew this was the perfect dress, and it looks even more prettier on you," he gushe

(Ethan)I never would have imagined a happier life. I never thought my happiness would lie with a woman. But when I look at Ivy, my heart is filled with joy. Not only did she give me the best gift as our daughter but she made me the happiest man alive by saying yes to me.I'm the luckiest to have her in my life, she said she'd try for us, and she did.Everyday I keep falling deeper in love with her, deeper than I had been.Ivy, my entire world, my wife, the mother of my daughter and my kids unborn. The only woman I've ever felt this strong connection with.Usually, my mother would always tell me, when you meet a good woman, your person, you’ll just know.I didn't believe that at the time. I thought love was overrated, a tool to be a simp. But now, it all makes sense. I see Ivy, and she's enough for me. And I'm confident that our love will stand the test of time.“You look— insanely gorgeous love,” I tell her as she's dressed for us to leave for Dean's anniversary party.“You flatter m

(Calvin)One year later….“How's it going?” Christian asks as we shoot the shit over the phone.A smile forms and I shrug. “Uhm, we're not there yet, but… we're getting somewhere.” I say.“Taking things slow I see,” he chips in.“Yeah, we're — we're taking our time…,” I breathed out.“I guess that includes publicly showing up, arm in arm with her, at her last show?” his voice comes out with a subtle tease. “If you ask me, that's such a couple thing to do,”I roll my eyes. “I'm merely supporting my woman, moreover I want to be fully immersed in her world,” I tell him.He goes silent for a second. “Look how happy you really are, Calvin. Now, I feel like getting me a woman of my dreams too,”“You should, let them shawties be and settle if you can,” I say and he chuckles.“You both are actually cute but nah, love isn't for me, man.” He said. “I mean, look how hard you tried, I'm not cut out for that,”“Never say never, bruh. It might hit you when you least expect it,”“No, thank you.” I h

(Ivy)It's been two months since my grandfather passed, and believe me I never expected it to hit me this hard.Ethan and Sabrina, alongside Bella and her family were so supportive during that period.I owe Tracy a lot, she stood beside me, making sure I was okay all through.Dare I say, special thanks goes to Ethan? He was exceptionally supportive, he came to LA to be with me, he made sure I was never alone, holding my hands through it all.Aria was unbelievably so matured about it, for some reason she believes he was gone and in a better place.I had almost forgotten about the envelope he gave her, but after the burial, I mistakenly stumbled upon it in the drawer.I take it out and exhaled, slowly I begin to open it up.First, it was my baby picture. I blink, I remember I lost it and searched for it for so long and when I asked him if he had seen it, he blatantly told me no.A chuckle slips out as I put it aside and then the next was Aria's first birthday pictures, my fingers traile

(Rihanna)I could tell Calvin was seething inside but above all his worry and concern surpasses his anger.I didn't say a word when I realized he often has his eyes on me.I didn't know how long it took before it dawned on that he had mentioned he was taking me home but yet he hasn't asked for my address.I'm about to ask when the call comes to a stop. He doesn't say anything to me, he just gave me a quick look and got out of the car.And only when he left did I notice were were in front of a pharmacy shop.He returns after a while with a bag and still didn't utter a word to me.I decided to leave him be and just observe what he's up to.He still didn't ask for my address and before I knew it, he wheeled his car to a stop in front of a restaurant. Why are we even here, I wondered to myself. He rounded his car and opened the door, gesturing me to come out.I did.I followed him in to a spot entirely different from the visible part of the restaurant.A petite brunette gives us a kind sm

  • Divorced By Mistake: Reclaiming My Ex-wife    Chapter 246 Letting go

(Ivy)The world feels like it's closing in, everything shrinking to this moment. My grandfather laid there, looking so much smaller than I remember. He's frail, almost unrecognizable. His face is pale, gaunt, each cheekbone sharp, his eyes hollowed by dark shadows.I blinked, my chest getting heavier. I had no idea it was this bad. I was too angry that I didn't bother checking in, but— that doesn't mean that this could make up for what he did.But still… I couldn't take seeing him this sickly, this…vulnerable. My hands shakes, I can feel every muscle tensed, my body caught between rage and disbelief.Henry approaches me, gives my shoulder a gentle squeeze, urging me on.I take a few step forward, each step deliberate and calculated, my eyes doesn't leave him and I see him stir a little as Henry whispers something into his ear.“Ivy?” His voice comes out very low and skeptical as he offered a hand.I reach to take the fragile hand he's offering. “Grandpa…” the word barely escapes my m
