LOGINBella's POVAfter a long ride I finally arrived at the vacation house; for a moment I didn’t want to go in because since I got married to Liam, I haven’t done this, but I was too frustrated, and he’s the only one that can help me.My fingers tapped restlessly against my thigh as I stepped out of the car; the night air brushed against my skin like a warning I chose to ignore. The door was slightly opened; he already knew I hate knocking.I pushed it open slowly, stepping inside like I was doing the right thing, even though in a way, I knew I wasn’t.He was standing by the window, sleeves rolled up; he turned to look at me with a bright smile on his face. I recalled the moment he asked why I was getting married to Liam and not him. I had no response to give him at that moment because I didn’t have any reasonable reason why I was actually getting married to him.“Why are you still dressed up?" I asked him as I snapped out of my thought.“You look tense.” He said quietly. I let out a dry
Bella POVI screamed at the top of my voice when I got outside. I can’t believe she had the audacity to speak to me like that. I recollected every word she said to me inside there, and I almost lost my cool completely.I brought out my phone from my bag and placed a call to my mom. After several calls, she wasn’t picking up; I stormed into the car and drove down to the house. While I was driving I pulled down the car mirror to see if my mark was visible the slightest way possible. After checking, it wasn’t, but while Olivia was talking to me, she kept staring at my neck like she could see something.I snapped out of it immediately and focused on driving. After a very long ride I finally arrived at the house. I noticed Dad's car was in the compound; it’s unlike him to be home by this time. The maid opened the door immediately after I rang the doorbell.“Don’t you dare touch me.” I scaremed at the maid angrily as she was trying to help me with my bag. She stepped back immediately.“Mom.”
Olivia's POVAt first I didn’t want to go because I was a little worried about how things would be between both of us, especially because I know her to be a rage baiter; she knows how to say words that would make me do something that I don’t want to do.So I decided that I wasn’t going to exchange too many words with her; I’m just going to keep it as simple as I can and try not to get upset unnecessarily. I knew for a fact that it wouldn't be easy to achieve such a goal, but I needed to give it a try.*****I honestly tried to stop laughing, but I couldn’t stop myself; it sounded so silly and funny at the same time to me. I don’t know why she thinks that I still need anything from those two people.I could see that she was very upset with the way I was laughing; I guess I’ll beat her to her own game this time.“You must really think I’m stupid.” I said to her as the waiter served us a glass of wine each. I picked the glass while staring at the drink inside with a smirk on my face.I r
Bella's POV“I will never accept her as my boss!” I screamed at the top of my voice, scattering everything in front of me. I still find it hard to believe that Olivia would be the one leading the company that I work in as a model. Things are not supposed to be like this; that girl was supposed to die.“Can you please calm down and let me think? Anyone that hears you screaming would think you actually deserved your spot in the company.” Liam said to me frustratedly. I was speechless when I heard what he said. He shouldn’t be talking to me like this right now.“Liam! I’m your wife; ever since that woman returned, you’ve been acting differently towards me, and I’m not happy about that.” I said to him, trying to make him see that I wasn’t happy with the way he’s handling the situation.“This is not supposed to be about our marriage! I just lost my position as the CEO of a company that I worked very hard for!”“More like Olivia worked hard for it." Silence fell in the room the moment he he
Olivia's POVI was very curious to hear what he had to say because I had been waiting for him to return so that he could tell me how the meeting was, but I was not satisfied with the way his facial expression was; he did not look like he was happy at all, and my heart kept beating fast.He walked closer to me the moment he stepped inside your house. I decided not to ask him anything about it because I don’t want to be the first person to talk about it.You looked really tired, so I just concluded in my head that things probably did not go well for him during the meeting, and I felt kind of disappointed about it because even though I wasn’t happy about continuing to lead the ship out of the company, I was still hoping that Liam wouldn’t get it and he would regret how he ever treated me in the past, but unfortunately things didn’t work out the way I wanted because I can already tell from Theo’s face.He immediately went to his room just when I thought he was about to say something to me
Olivia's POVSince we both got back, we've been getting so many invitations for several occasions. While I was married to Liam, he constantly got angry for not getting an invite to important occasions. I wonder why everyone wants Theo in their event.I was the only one left in the house after Juliet and Theo left for work; he told me today is a very important day for him over there. I can't help but worry about what's going to happen there.I couldn't keep calm in my room all day; I was waiting for his call as well because he told me whichever way it goes, he would definitely call me and let me know. I kept biting my fingers nervously.I was really hoping that things would go smoothly for him because as much as I don't want to lead the company, I still don't want to lose anything to Liam. After everything that I have been through in his hands, losing the company to him will be a little too shameful for me, so I would rather hope that Theo wins.*******I didn't know when I slept off,
