Olivia's POV

He stood there, towel low on his hips, water still glistening on his chest, and instead of horror or regret, Theodore Sinclair was smiling.

“Well, well,” he said, that same deep baritone that had unraveled me all night wrapping around the words like silk. “Looks like fate has a very twisted sense of humor, Venus… or should I say, Olivia Sinclair.”

My mouth went dry. “I don’t understand. Aren’t you supposed to be embarrassed? You just had sex with your nephew's wife!”

“Ex-wife,” he corrected smoothly, stepping closer. “You’re divorced. You don’t belong to him anymore. And on the brighter side…” His eyes dragged down my naked body again,

“The woman my nephew treated like trash is someone I definitely don’t want to lose. You see what you did to me last night? No woman has ever done that to me.”

I scrambled off the bed, yanking the sheet with me to cover myself.

“Alright, stop! This is insane! I feel so ashamed. I don’t know… I’m going to return your money, sir. All of it. We’ll go our separate ways and pretend this never happened between us.”

He laughed, genuinely amused.

“That’s the thing, Olivia. We can’t pretend. I was inside you for nine hours. You came apart for me over and over. You begged. You screamed my name without even knowing it was me. You expect me to wake up one morning and move on? You and I both know that’s impossible.”

He walked to the armchair, picked up a plush white robe, and tossed it to me.

“Sit.”

I caught it, wrapped it around myself, and perched on the edge of the bed, legs pressed together like that could hide the evidence of last night.

He sat across from me, elbows on his knees, eyes locked on mine.

“I saw what happened. It’s all over the news. The viral video. The proposal to your sister in front of the entire world. You didn’t deserve any of it and I know whatever your sister said you did is not true, I believe you”

I looked away. “I don't know what to say”

“Sometimes I doubt he’s even my nephew,” Theo cut in. “We’re so opposite. I walked away from my father because I refused to be controlled but Liam? He went crawling back behind my back, kissed the old man’s ring, and took the CEO seat at Nova Group. We haven’t spoken in ten years. You already know that.”

I nodded faintly.

“Contrary to what everyone thinks, the firstborn of the Rockwell family l is broke and hiding from his family, I’m actually very rich. I managed to start up my own company with my trust fund and now, I’m the CEO of Apex Global Media.”

Apex Global Media was the number-one media conglomerate on the planet, every other network feared them.

Theo leaned forward.

“Here’s the thing. I’ve been single for far too long. I want a wife. And that’s you.”

I stared at him. “I’m not sure you know what you’re saying, sir. What would people say when they find out I married my ex-husband’s uncle?”

“They can say whatever they want. We’ll give them the headlines.” His voice dropped,  “You’re my kind of woman, Olivia. I want to give you the perfect opportunity to get revenge against Liam and your family for everything they did to you. And I want to teach my nephew a lesson for betraying me. I’m here to claim my inheritance as well. So marry me. Unless, of course, you want to keep wallowing in self-pity when revenge is standing right in front of you.”

I sat there, robe clutched tight, what were the odds. Theodore looked at me like I was everything Liam said I wasn’t.

The difference between them was like night and day.

I took a deep breath and lifted my chin.

“I’ll marry you.”

“But first,” I continued, “this marriage will be on my terms.”

He tilted his head and smiled. “Explain”

“I won’t be your revenge tool. I won’t be hidden. If I marry you, I stand beside you publicly. As your equal. And I want a seat at Apex Global Media. A real position.”

A slow smile spread across his face.

“There she is,” he murmured. “That’s the woman I saw last night.”

“I’m serious.”

“So am I.” His voice lowered. “You won’t be my shadow, Olivia. You’ll be my partner.”…But listen to me clearly, Olivia.”

He reached out, fingers brushing my cheek, then sliding down to rest possessively on my hip right over the folds Liam always mocked.

“Don’t try to change a single thing about what I already crave. I’ll marry you either way. Your size doesn’t determine who you are”

He stood, offering his hand.

“We leave for New York in two weeks. By then you’ll be ready, and we’ll have our marriage certificate ready. Then we go public.”

He pulled me closer as I smiled against his lips.

Liam doesn't know what's about to hit him.

Olivia's POVJuliet was behaving very strangely when she returned from the office today, and no matter how many times I tried to ask her why she was like that, she didn’t tell me. She said it’s a personal issue and she’s going to be fine.I decided not to worry myself so much about it even though I was still very curious to know the reason why she has been in deep thought today. While we were all sitting at the dining table, she wasn’t eating while both of us were eating because she was thinking about something that only God knows about.Theo looked at me several times too; I need to make it obvious that he also noticed there was something wrong about Juliet's character this night. I guess I might not fall asleep this night until I get to know the exact thing that she’s been worried about.“Juliet.” I called her name as I was trying to call her out of her thoughts or whatever is in her head because she wasn’t eating and it was bothering me, or maybe I was so bothered I wanted to know

Bella's POVAfter the misunderstanding that Liam and I had at my parents' house, he was driving me back to the house, but I could not go back to the house with him; I was very mad at him at the moment.“Stop the car.” I said to him angrily. He refused to listen to me until I tried to do something stupid in the car, and then he finally stopped the car. “What is wrong with you!” Liam asked angrily.“Wow, are you really asking me that right now? Do you want me to tell you the exact thing that is wrong with me right now?”“What’s all this fuss about?” Liam asked. For a moment anyone there would think that I was losing my mind or there was something wrong with me because of the way he was behaving; he totally behaved like he didn't know what I was talking about.“You really want to know?” I asked softly while staring at him. But I could not bring myself to say exactly what I wanted to say because I still want to save our marriage. I know that I still have interest in Olivia’s present husba

  • Divorced Plus-Size Wife: Now CEO   Chapter 60

Olivia's POVWhen I went back to the house, I still wasn’t very comfortable about everything that happened at my parent house. I still can’t believe that my dad let her go with him after he slept with her right in front of me. Now, I am left thinking if he actually hated me, which is why he treated me like that.I know Theo was worried about me, but I could not help but worry about Bella. I know that the both of us don’t have the best relationship as sisters, but I know how she is. I know that what Dad did to her must hurt a lot because of how much she likes him and how she adores him. After a long ride we finally arrived at the house. I headed inside immediately without saying a word to my husband because I was still trying to wrap everything that just happened in my head. I know very well that I shouldn’t stress myself about anything that concerns that family, but I just can’t help but worry because, at the end of the day, we’re still related, and she's still my younger sister.I kn

know very well that everything I have said meant nothing to the both of them, but I needed him to understand it. I’m not the reason why I am like this; I was born like this, and it’s not my fault that I don’t have Bella‘s kind of body to continue the family legacy.“Dad, you see what she’s doing again? Victimizing herself as usual! I don’t understand why we can’t have a normal conversation with her without her trying to victimize herself and make us look like the bad people. You invited her to this house so that we can have a conversation as family, but unfortunately she’s trying to remind us about how her size was always a problem in the family. Is it awful that she ended up like that?”“Shut up, Bella.” Bella was not expecting that at all because every time in my presence Dad has never spoken to her like that; she was completely speechless when she heard what Dad said, and she didn’t bother to see any more words because I could tell she was very embarrassed at the moment.“Olivia, I

  • Divorced Plus-Size Wife: Now CEO   Chapter 58

Olivia's POVI finally decided to go see my mom and dad because he’s been texting me nonstop, and every time I try to ignore his message, it is almost impossible, and now that Theo isn't in the chat, I honestly don’t know what to do right now.It was not even on my bucket list at all to go visit them anytime soon, but I had no other choice but to do it because I need to know why on earth they have been trying to reach me and why they have been sending me so many messages.“What am I even doing?” I asked myself and paused driving because I needed to calm down a little before I continued driving to the house. So many memories from my last visit there were rushing through my mind, and I was not able to concentrate at all. After resting for a short time I continued driving, and after a very short period of time I finally arrived at the house.Just like the last time, the code is still the same; it feels like it never changes in this house. I entered inside the house, and it felt like both

  • Divorced Plus-Size Wife: Now CEO   Chapter 57

Olivia's POVI have been receiving so many messages from my dad these past few days; I did not bother to read any of the messages because I don’t want anything from that man, and I don’t even want any relationship with him again because when I needed it, he wasn’t there. He abandoned me and did not care whether I drowned or I lived."Liv," Juliet called excitedly. I was very curious to hear what is making her so excited because she hasn’t sounded excited since the last time she met Halima.“What is it, Jull?" She gave me a funny look because she doesn’t like it whenever I call her like that.“What? I told you I wasn’t going to stop.” I tried to defend it myself because I actually love to call her that, especially because she doesn’t like it.“You’re so lucky I’m in a very good mood; I’ll just pretend like I didn’t hear you call me that.” I realised the news has to be a very exciting one for her.“Spill.” I said to her and paused what I was doing.“Earlier today during lunch I met this
