Brandon adjusted his tie and held Katherine as they walked towards the cameras. They were streaming live, and it could be watched by millions of people.

“Do my injuries still look painful?” He whispered.

“Yes.” Katherine responded as she rubbed his back as if it would help soathe his pain.

The beating that Lucian gave him had started healing, so he asked her to hit him with a pan so his eye could swell to the point of closing.

After losing the position of CEO, Brandon was so furious he wanted to kill Amara right on the spot, but Katherine stopped him,

“I have a better idea. I know Lucian's father no longer favors Amara! Let's give him reason to separate them so that she will remain without protection! It will be a piece of cake to kill her that way!”

“You're such a smart girl!” Brandon kissed Katherine.

The moment the media caught sight of them, they rose to their feet and rushed forward. Katherine's pregnancy was now visible, and she was in tears.
