(Delvin's POV)

I paused and frowned. “What are you talking about?”

What did she mean that Aliana had already signed the papers?

My mum smiled and held up a document. “Well, see for yourself.”

I quickly snatched the document from her hand and opened it.

>>> “Divorce Agreement,” it read.

My hands shook as I roughly flipped to the final page.

And there it was... her signature, written clearly above her name in bold ink. The signature stared back at me as if it were mocking me.

    (Delvin's POV)"And why should I be avoiding you?" she asked, crossing her arms over her chest."I don't know... maybe because of what happened," I whispered, honestly confused about why she had been avoiding me. "Maybe because of the kiss...""You shouldn't bring that up. It was a mistake," she said immediately, cutting me off.I stared at her. She had just called the kiss a mistake, but the way she kissed me, with so much hunger and passion, didn’t feel like a mistake at all. It was just like the way she used to kiss me back when we were married.And even now, the look in her eyes was completely different from the way she had been looking at me before the incident on the ship."You said it was a mistake, but your eyes are saying something completely different," I muttered as I took a step closer to her.Aliana tried to step back, but I wrapped my hand around her waist and pulled her even closer to me.She gasped softly, her body going stiff for a second."What... are you doing...?"

  • Doctor, Please Be My Wife Again   Chapter 119: Love Across Two Apartments

    (Delvin’s POV)The sky had already turned dark, and the stars were shining brightly above as I sat quietly on the balcony of my resort apartment.My eyes stayed locked on the empty balcony across from mine. That apartment belonged to Aliana.I had specifically requested a room close to hers, but most of the apartments were already fully booked. This was the best option available, and at least from here, I could still clearly see her balcony.“Why is she still awake? Can’t she sleep too?” I muttered quietly to myself.It was late at night, but her apartment light was still on, meaning she was still awake. In our four years of marriage, I knew one thing... she never slept with the lights on, just like me.Just then, the light suddenly went off.I let out a slow breath and leaned back in my chair. She had finally gone to sleep.But I couldn’t say the same for myself. I wasn’t sleepy at all. My mind refused to rest.My phone suddenly rang on the table, pulling me out of my thoughts.I qui

  • Doctor, Please Be My Wife Again   Chapter 118: A Love Worth Fighting For

    (Delvin’s POV)I stood in front of the rescue boat, looking around the island… at the leaves Aliana and I slept on, and even the piles of firewood nearby.We had spent just one day here, yet this place already held so many memories. Memories I didn’t want to let go of.Being here with Aliana, away from the noise of the world and all the problems that separated us in the first place, felt like the therapy I never knew I needed.This past day with her made me realize something clearly.She was everything I truly needed in this life.There was no electricity, no house, no expensive cars here… just nature and the woman I loved beside me. Yet I had never felt that happy before.That alone proved that having Aliana in my life was all that truly mattered to me.“Come on, sir. Let’s go,” one of the coast guard officers said, pulling me out of my thoughts.Everyone had already settled into the boat, ready to leave.I was happy help had finally come for us. At least Aliana could leave this plac

  • Doctor, Please Be My Wife Again   Chapter 117: The Third Wheel Moment

    (Fabian’s POV)I froze instantly, my eyes widening in shock.My heart twisted painfully, and my hands started trembling. Aliana’s dress slipped from my fingers and fell to the ground.“Look at that,” the coast guard officer beside me said, amusement clear in her voice. “We just walked into two lovers kissing.” When she saw that I didn’t respond, she slowly turned toward me and frowned at the expression on my face. Then her eyes widened slightly like she had suddenly understood something.“Don’t tell me that woman over there kissing that man is your girlfriend,” she muttered in shock.I couldn’t respond. Because I was in even greater shock myself.Delvin Barrington was here with Aliana?How?Was Delvin the other missing passenger we had been searching for together with Aliana this whole time?And… since when had they become that close again? Close enough to be wrapped in each other’s arms and kissing like that?“So the girlfriend you’ve been searching for all this time is here kissin

  • Doctor, Please Be My Wife Again   Chapter 116: Survival Turns Into Romance

    (Aliana’s POV)“I went to get food,” he muttered as he lifted two fairly large fish. “I figured you’d be hungry.”I blinked at the fish in his hands.“I’ll explore the island later to find more options. We might even get fruits or something,” he added.Just like the night before, Delvin carefully prepared the fish, and we ate in almost complete silence.After eating, Delvin and I sat quietly, staring at the sea and watching for any passing ship. I didn’t know how long we sat there, but it felt like hours.“I love it here,” Delvin said suddenly. “I want to live here forever with you.”“Are you crazy? I want to go home,” I replied immediately, not agreeing with him at all.He couldn’t be serious. There was no electricity, no proper shelter... nothing about this place was suitable for living.Delvin laughed softly, like he enjoyed teasing me. Then he stood up and stretched out his hand toward me.“Do you want to explore the forest with me?” he asked quietly.I looked at him for a moment

  • Doctor, Please Be My Wife Again   Chapter 115: Old Marriage Memories Resurface

    (Aliana’s POV)I kept my eyes shut, forcing myself to sleep, but I just couldn’t.The leaves beneath me were uncomfortable, and even though the fire was burning beside us, I still felt slightly cold.“You can’t sleep too?” Delvin mumbled beside me.I slowly opened my eyes and met his gaze.He looked like he hadn’t slept at all either. Couldn’t he sleep too?“Why are you still awake?” I asked quietly.Delvin let out a soft smile.“How can I sleep when you’re lying this close to me?” he replied.I blinked at him. He never missed a chance to say things like that.Just a few hours ago, he had said he wouldn’t mind spending the rest of his life on this island as long as I was there with him.“You are my life now, Aliana,” he had whispered earlier, almost making me choke on the fish I was eating.And now he was saying he couldn’t sleep because I was lying beside him.“I want to stay awake all night just to watch you sleep,” he continued softly.I sighed, trying hard to hide the tiny smile t
