*Palak Pov*
“Palak!” I shifted in my sleep hearing his voice and replied with a sound to let him know I am not completely asleep.
“I need to go to work now. Are you going to take leave today?” he asked, caressing my hair and I slowly opened my eyes to see him sitting on the bed completely ready.
“I will take a half day leave after calling my chief and just hope he will accept.” I replied, closing my eyes again while he sighed making me frown.
“I really have an important meeting today. Otherwise, I would have stayed back.” I shook my head hearing his explanation understanding what he is feeling right now.
“There is no need. And I understand how busy you are to handle the both things at a time. Don’t worry about anything else and do your best for this meeting.” I assured him but he didn’t move at all.
