"All this was for revenge?" she asked in a whisper and I can hear her even when we are standing far away from each other because of the silence surrounding us."Yes! Didn't you hear what I was saying until now?" I asked, smirking, and saw her eyes blinking while the tears rolled down her cheek.I immediately turned away and walked out of the place not wishing to see those tears right now. *Palak Pov*"Ms. Palak!" I turned away from my mobile hearing my name to see my co-worker pointing her hand at the doctor's office."I am waiting for a call. Can you take the case?" I asked, walking towards her."Even I wish to do that, but he specifically asked for a specialist and your name got chosen." She replied sighing longingly at the door."VIP?" I asked her frowning and she nodded.I am not that keen on working with the VIP as they are never ready to work hard on getting better and whine a lot. Not everyone act in that way, but at least most of them.

*Palak Pov*"Here!" I opened my eyes to see Veer sitting beside me and I immediately sat properly before glancing at the bottle he is offering."Thank you! Are you taking a break too?" I asked, opening the bottle to take a sip."All my appointments are done for the day. What about you?" he asked, smiling and glanced at the chart in the room we are present sitting to take a rest.This is supposed to be the place where we take care of all the patient records and have meetings, but most of the time we just use it to take some rest whenever we feel tired sitting in these chairs. Some of us go to the dorms but some of us feel it is better to stay near to the equipment room to help if anyone needs it.

#After Four Months#*Palak Pov*“Are you still thinking about him?” I got startled hearing those words and the coffee cup shook a little, but somehow I managed to not let it spill over the table.“Give me a warning about your presence before saying something, Tina.” I frowned releasing the cup and glanced up to see her standing beside my chair along with Veer.“Okay! But you were just thinking about him, right?” she asked, pulling out a chair and sat down.Of course I am thinking about him, but I can’t let her know about it, right. So, I just ignored her question and took another sip, but groaned when I found both of them just staring at me without looking away.“It’s okay to admit it, Dr. Palak. Even I am thinking about him a lot.” Tina’s words this time caused me to cough over the sip I just took.
