The kiss went on for a few more seconds. Boma didn't know how long she could keep still under his arousing onslaught. She could barely move, anyway. He had her immobile.

Donovan had no intentions of letting her go until he got what he wanted. A small moan of surrender escaped her lips and when he heard it, he released her with satisfaction. That was what he had been waiting for.

She looked at him with dazed eyes again, her breathing fast from being thoroughly kissed.

She set her eyes on his chest, her face colored with embarrassment.

"Are you a virgin?" He asked, suspecting that she was, but wanting verbal confirmation.

She started to nod, decided against it, and stayed silent.

"I asked you a question."

Her eyes remained on his chest.

"Do not make me repeat myself."

She snapped out of her silence and nodded.

"I want words."

"Yes."

"Hmm. Even though I suspected correctly, it's still surprising in this era. Nonetheless, I like it."

She didn't say anything. She pressed her lips together, wishing she was anywhere but there.

She felt his fingers gently urging her to meet his gaze.

"Because you're a virgin, I won't rush you, but I will play with you. Okay?"

She was confused by his words.

"Play with me?"

His voice lowered to a seductive slow tone and he cupped her face as he let her know exactly what he was talking about.

"That means, I will touch you, Boma. I will kiss you. I will caress and romance you. I will suck you, lick you everywhere. I will finger you. But I won't take you. Now, is there something else you would like to tell me?"

Her response came out in stutters.

 "I don't- I don't agree with the...the play-the playing with-"

"That topic is not up for discussion anymore. Or would you rather I mess with your precious V Card? I will be more than happy to."

She quickly shook her head and he released her face.

"Well, one more thing," he said, caressing her cheek with a finger. "You cannot lose the gift of your innocence to any guy in this school or any other guy. Not while I'm your boyfriend. If I find out, I will kill him." He observed her shudders, but it didn't keep him from continuing with his threat. "And that will be after I kill you. And before that, I will ensure that I break your legs first- those very legs that you dared to spread for him. Am I understood?"

She nodded, her eyes filling rapidly, triggered by her fear of him.

"Good." He said. Then he planted a kiss on her forehead.

She was still frightened but strangely, his kiss on her forehead began to calm her jitters a little.

"Now, let's go shopping."

Boma recalled that he mentioned shopping. Somehow, she didn't think it would be serious or so soon.

"I'm not- I'm not supposed to take gifts from- from strangers. I don't-I don't know you."

He gave her an incredulous look. "Are you serious?"

"I don't-I don't think I need anything from-"

"Shut up."

Her speech was cut off at his abruptly given command. Then he pulled her up to her feet.

They were facing each other now and she kept her eyes on the floor.

"Look at me."

She lifted her gaze and managed to meet his. He leaned forward and pressed his lips to her forehead.

"Now, let's go." He said, taking her hand firmly in his.

She had no choice but to go with him, aware of his wingmen following them.

Outside, she had thought that his guys would join them in his car but they took another vehicle, leaving them alone in his sleek, dark grey SUV.

She sat beside him, hands clasped together.

"Relax." He said as he started the car. "Get used to being around me because you're mine now."

She tried to relax, but it was hard. She was nervous. To look convincing in her attempt at relaxation, she let her back rest on the chair.

He steered the car onto the campus roads, heading towards the campus gates. Boma noticed his wingmen following behind them in the rearview mirror. It didn't surprise her; she figured it was part of their role.

She nervously clasped her hands together, her main concern being the ring. She kept her left hand covered with her right, praying fervently that he wouldn't notice. So far, he hadn't, but their date wasn't over yet. She couldn't shake the worry that he might notice at any moment.

The car finally passed through security at the gate. She observed how the gatemen greeted him with respect.

As Donovan navigated the car through the streets of the island, a thought struck her.

If she could get Hilda to bring the ring to whatever boutique he was taking her to, she would be free of the fear consuming her.

She took out her phone and began texting Hilda. Then she realized she didn't know which boutique they were going to.

"D," she said tentatively.

"Yeah."

"Could you tell me what boutique we are going to and the location?"

"Why?" He asked without sparing her a glance.

 "I just want to know."

"Why?" He repeated as though she had not spoken.

"I just- I just want to know." She said in a louder voice, thinking that he had not heard her.

 He glanced at her.

"Why?" He repeated before returning his gaze to the road.

"Because I...I just want to know." She answered, her voice laced with uncertainty. Because now, she knew that he had heard her. And she didn't know why he was being difficult about it.

"Boma," he said, still not looking at her.

 "Yes."

 "I asked you a question."

 "But I-I already answered."

"I don't believe your response. If you're scared that I'm taking you somewhere else other than the boutique, I understand. But you don't have to lie to me about it. Okay?"

"Okay, but that's not- that's not my reason."

 "Fine. Ever shopped at Majestic?"

"No," she admitted. Majestic was the biggest mall on the island, and every store there was pricey. She couldn't even dream of going there.

"That's where we're going."

"Okay. Thank you," she said, feeling overwhelmed by the privilege.

"It’s my pleasure."

She immediately resumed her text to Hilda. About to send an SMS, she realized she could be wasting precious airtime. Instead, she went online to check if Hilda was available on chat.

Luckily, she found Hilda online. She flashed her cell phone and messaged her:

Boma

Hey, I need your help URGENTLY.

It took about five seconds before Hilda responded:

Hilda

Are u ok? Where are u? Are u with him?

Their chat began from there.

Boma

Yes. We had lunch. Now we are going to Majestic.

Hilda

I knew he was serious. What's the problem?

Boma

Yes, he is. I 4got the ring on my bed. I am so scared he will find out

Hilda

Y did u 4get? Gosh. This is serious. He will drill u. You've not heard of what happens to Point One babes caught without their ring?

Boma froze, not daring to steal a glance at Donovan. Her fingers started to shake, but she managed to continue.

Boma

Pls, help me bring it to Majestic b4 he finds out. Please.

Hilda

I'm already heading to the room. I will be there soon

Boma

Please, hurry. Thanks.

Hilda

"I'll be there. Try 2 keep cool.

Boma

Ok.will try.

After ending their chat, Boma was startled by Donovan's voice.

 "I see you were chatting."

"Yes," she replied, seeing no reason to deny it.

"With who?"

"My friend and roommate."

"I see. Okay. Give me your hand, will you? Let me feel you while I drive," he said, already reaching for her left hand and gently folding it in his. His touch was warm, but it sent her heartbeat racing with mounting anxiety.

He kissed her lips and murmured in her ear. “I know what you need, Sweetheart. You want me. Don’t worry, I will be gentle and come in fro

She had thought maybe Donovan would grow tired of her, but it was not happening. Also, she thought she had moved on, but the more she saw Donovan’s success, the angrier she got. She wanted his downfall over this and had orchestrated everything by getting all the rival cult groups together.“Look at him,” she sneered, her voice dripping with disdain. “Donovan thinks he’s some kind of hero, but we all know better. He’s just a fraternity member like the rest of us, and it’s time we remind him of his place.”As she turned off the video, the room fell silent. The atmosphere shifted, igniting the simmering animosity rising within the members. “W
