I stared, swallowing hard.

How the hell was Mr Simon Lopez here? It can't be what I was thinking, right?

I was still lost in thought when Selene tapped my arm.

I hummed a response, lifting my gaze to her.

“Doesn’t she look familiar?” She whispered.

I followed her gaze until it fell on a red-haired girl, standing next to Mr Lopez.

She smiled, waving at us as her gaze settled on Selene and me.

I shifted my gaze back at Mr Lopez and then at the girl, and then slowly turned to Selene, whispering barely audibly.

“Selene, is it glowing?” I swallowed hard.

She stared down at my collarbone, her eyes widened, then she brought it up staring into my eyes.

“He is your mate.”

My head snapped, and everything began to blur. The room seemed to spin, the voices fading. I couldn't hear a single word they were saying.

I should have known earlier, the mark always glowed whenever he was near. On the day I went to save Alec and met the red-haired girl, I should have known it was him.
