I stirred up from where I laid, my back ached so badly. There were voices nearby, voices I didn't recognise but echoed of something I've heard.

I sat hastily, glancing round the room until it fell on them. Selene stood, her face white as snow and pale, her eyelids trembling like she had been denied of sleep for a long time. Mr Lucas cleared his throat as he stared at me, gaze piercing through my skin.

“What’s going on, why am I here?” I asked staring as my eyes adjusted to the familiar surrounding of Mr Luca’s house.

“Found you in the woods while hunting.” He explained pouring in tea for me. “You seemed scared when I found you.” He glanced back at me.

The event of yesterday came flying in. Each thought fresh, new yet painful. My cheeks flushed in embarrassment as I stared up at Mr Lucas. “Thanks.” I muttered lowly.
