SELENE

I sat by the oak tree at the back of the hut. I threw stones into the river as I reminisced about my earlier discussion with Ava.

She was really a brave kid, she had lots of duties on her shoulders and she had her own emotions to deal with, yet she still stood strong and undefeated. The moon goddess indeed, made the perfect decision in choosing her to become the Alpha. She had all the qualities.

“Hey?” Emelia said, sitting next to me.

“How did you find me?” I asked, glancing at her.

She shrugged, a weak smile on her face, “I just happened to find you.”

I hummed a response, nodding my head as I turned back to the water. The stones made tiny sounds as they plumped into the water.

“I overheard your conversation with Ava.” She confessed, glancing at me. “You really did well. While you spoke, I kinda felt a great wave, then I remembered the prophecy. You were really destined to offer great help to her. Even though you're not the Alpha, but to me, you'll always be my Alpha.”
