Chapter Ten

As I reached the fork again, I went right going down the only path that I had yet to take. I couldn’t hear any fighting down this path though at least not anymore. Sometimes I would come across some bodies, but I could not tell who is who. The bandits and us the slaves all were wearing the same style of armour. This would make it incredibly difficult to tell apart each other when I reach the fighting.

Ting!

I heard the faint sound of clashing metal, and could smell some blood. It made my stomach churn as I almost felt like I was back at the bandit camp, seeing Lance get riddled by the arrows. A tear began to fall down my face as I hit myself with my spare hand.

Shake out of it! You can not be thinking of him for now, you have to focus. I must survive for him.
