Chapter 30: Change Of Destiny.

"Lucy, cancel all of our Lord's meetings for a month…" Crawford informed the assistant when she unknowingly asked, "For a month? Oh my God, Crawford. I hope everything is alright…" 

"Yes, all is good. Our Lord's father is not well so he called his son and daughter in law...and our Lord might stay there for months...so yeah," Crawford didn't hesitate before telling a lie. 

"Also, Lucy. Did the other assistant come to collect her things?" he asked, sliding his hand onto his pant pocket and Lucy shook her head. 

"Okay, one more thing...if Mr Sam Harper calls or…" Lucy cuts him off saying, "Yes, Mr Sam is waiting in the reception. I'm just going to tell him to go away because we haven't had some kind of a bullshit lucky draw."
