Leo – POV

"Let's wait and see," Archer suggested. We returned to the room. Lavi hugged Archer, looking relieved but tense. Archer filled us in on what was happening, and we waited with the TV on, tuned to the vampire news channel, anticipating updates beyond Raven's passing.

"When will they show the clip?" Alice inquired.

"Patience," Archer replied, glancing at the clock. At 4:00 pm, breaking news appeared, and Rick's set-up clip played. Archer sighed in relief, happy that things were going according to plan.

"What about Jacob?" I asked.

"My team is handling it," Archer answered with a confident smirk. "We need to leave now, Leo," he said before leaving the room.

"You're quite clever," Lavi complimented, pecking Archer on the cheek. I looked away, feeling awkward. At the Vampire Palace, there was chaos as they searched for Jacob, who I suspected had either run away or been hidden by Archer.
