Astrid closed her mouth in surprise. Half-dragon? What was this creature?

"What do you mean by half-dragon, Sir Edmund Brighton?" Astrid asked, unable to hold back her curiosity.

“My mother is a human. Just call me Ed from now on, Lady Amicus,” replied Sir Edmund Brighton with a gentler face. The cold expression had disappeared from his face.

“Then, call me Astrid, please. Lady Amicus is too formal," Astrid said softly.

"Very well, Astrid. My royal highness, would you like us to change places? My man seemed injured. We need to treat him first before we have a long conversation," said Edmund to Draco.

"Call me, Draco. Just Draco. Right now, I'm nobody," Draco replied curtly.

“Yes, My royal highness. I mean, Draco," Edmund corrected his words.
