Sebastian’s POV

I tried to compose myself, but the storm inside me was already raging, clawing to break free. My pulse was pounding in my ears, and even the air around me felt heavy with tension. Julian was gathering allies in the conference room at the venue, and I—damn it—I had to get rid of Christine before I lost my mind.

The fashion show was finally over. Models were leaving the runway, music fading, and applause dying down. And there she was—Christine—casting her hungry eyes around the hall like a viper looking for me. When her gaze found me, she smiled like she owned me.

“Here you are,” she exclaimed, rushing toward me.

“Here I am,” I muttered, my mind already spinning with excuses to send her away.

“It’s over,” she purred, looping her arm through mine. “So now we can go to dinner. Unless you want to stay longer and explore your ex’s tasteless paintings.” She gave a laugh that scraped my nerves raw and

Alexandra’s POV I have opened my eyes. I was alone in a large bed in the place I did not recognise. Outside in the panoramic window, I could see ocean and seagulls circling in the sky, hoping to catch fish. My body was aching, and I could not reach Eilyul. I removed covers and sat down, looking at myself. I was dressed in pink pyjamas. The door got opened, and the scent of Sebastian mixed with aroma of freshly made food and coffee hit my nostrils. "Good morning, my love," he said, grinning ear to ear while bringing the tray to the bed. "Good morning. Where are we? What happened?" I asked, puzzled. He sat next to me, taking my hand in his, but strangely, his touch did not calm me as it used to. "Don't you remember anything?" He asked, looking at me with a gaze full of love and care. I shook my head. "It is alright, probab

Sebastian’s POV We walked down to the underground dungeon. The light flickered against the damp walls, adding an even more dangerous, almost suffocating atmosphere. The air was thick with tension and the stench of old fear. Laura hadn’t been lying—the cells were empty. Every step felt like a torture, dragging time itself, stretching my nerves to breaking point. Each echo of my boots reminded me that I still hadn’t found her. My mate. My reason to breathe. We reached almost to the end of the hall, but I still couldn’t catch Alexandra’s scent. That alone made my heart twist painfully in my chest. In a narrow passage, I spotted the door Samantha had mentioned—the torture room meant for Alexandra. My stomach turned. “Open the door,” I ordered, my voice low but deadly. “There’s no one there,” Laura protested quickly. “I said open the fucking door!” I roared, and my voice slammed off the st

Sebastian's POV Two hours seemed to be an eternity for me. Each minute dragged like a lifetime. Our two hours of mobilisation forced could be two hours of Alexandra’s torture, and the thought was eating me alive. I was in the first SUV with Julian and Joe, paler then ghost, as fear for my mate's life was gnawing me from the inside. My hands clenched and unclenched on my knees. The air inside the car felt thick, suffocating. We parked next to the gate, and one of the warriors asked a guard to call Alpha Nicolas and Laura. I exited the SUV together with Julian and Joe. Oliver and Xavier stood next to us. Alpha Leo joined soon after. Snipers surrounded the area, ready to shoot if things went south. Every sound, even the rustle of leaves, made my wolf twitch. My head was spinning, my chest was heavy, suffocated by fear, and I could not wait any longer. My pulse hammered so loud it echoed in my ears. Good tha

  • Drawing Her Fate: Luna's Redemption   Chapter 139: When Fury Wakes

Sebastian’s POV I smiled, feeling still taste of Alex's skin on my lips. My chest still buzzed from her warmth — like a small, dangerous glow I couldn't put out. The memory of her against me was a quiet ache that would not be soothed. Cristine smiled, looking at me while I was taking my place again next to her. Her smile was the kind that tried to pretend everything was fine. It made my jaw tighten — because nothing about tonight felt fine without Alex. Even if she caught the scent of Alex on me, she did not show it. She hid the blade behind silk and small talk. I could smell Alex in every breath, and it felt like rubbing salt in a wound. "I must admit this Arabella's designs are not bad at all. She made this event remarkable as Alexandra's paintings are quite average, "whispered Christine. Her words scraped. I wanted to snap back, to tear that smugness off her face, but the anger simmered because my head kept returning to the emptiness where Alex should be. Ronnan w

  • Drawing Her Fate: Luna's Redemption   Chapter 138: Before Everything Went Black

Alexandra's POV I was standing in the middle of the exhibition hall. It was a big day for me and Arabella, but all I could think about was the upcoming battle. How many lives were we going to lose because of someone’s hunger for power and revenge? I would definitely prefer to have the fight somewhere far from the pack grounds, to spare the lives of our people. The sunlight poured through the gallery windows, making the satin of my blouse glow a little too much under the golden light. The soft blue felt like a strange mix of calm and confidence — maybe that’s why I chose it. The lace on the shoulders and cuffs was delicate, almost fragile, but today I needed that softness. Something to remind me that there was still beauty in the world even when everything else felt like it was about to burn. Samantha, Arabella, Julian, Leo, Joe, Alyssa, and Marco were already by my side, and we exchanged know
