Chapter three

Was she crazy? Had she had an accident and hit her head? That had to be it. It was impossible for werewolves and people who ran at inhuman speed to exist. Lun put his hands to his ears, closed his eyes and counted to five. After that, nothing like that would have happened.

One...

"Out!" a man shouted.  "All clear!"

Two...

"Come on, these men have helped us." Someone tugged at her arm but she responded.

Three...

"Have you killed everyone?" asked a male voice.

"Some have escaped, no doubt they have taken advantage of the rain so they could feed and cut all the electrical circuits. We found the real parking lot guards with their throats slit, in the adjoining warehouse."

Four...

They pushed her arm again, pulling her out from under the car. She still didn't open her eyes, she just wanted it all to go away. Someone lifted her up in his arms. She clung tightly to the collar of the man's jacket, who lifted her up without caring that she didn't know who he was, while keeping her eyes closed. She inhaled deeply.

A fresh, masculine, minty scent enveloped her. She immediately relaxed against his chest. There was no smell of blood, guts or sweat. Just minty and...

She sighed.

"The girl is awake, but she doesn't seem to want to open her eyes," another man said hoarsely.

"What would you do if you were attacked by men who look like wolves?" a woman shouted. Lun recognized her, it was the girl who had been standing next to him. "We've been attacked!"

Five...

Lux closed his eyes and began to open them slowly. She distinguished several mutilated bodies on the parking lot floor. Blood, lots of blood and also loose limbs on the ground. There were werewolves lying around that seemed to be slowly regaining their human form.

Police sirens could be heard, had the danger passed?

Lun looked at the man holding her in his arms. His dark blue eyes were staring at her. He seemed to be checking her condition. His hair was as black as a raven's wings, down to his shoulders. His face was masculine and terribly handsome. His nose was straight and his lips neither too wide nor too thin. They were taut in a straight line as I continued to watch her. Several dark locks fell over his forehead, giving him a mysterious and darkly sensual look.

His arms grabbed her tightly and at that moment she realized that her arms, her clothes and her face were covered with traces of blood. She began to tremble, she opened her lips to speak, but only sounds of pain came from them.

"What are we going to do with the two girls?" asked a man in an anxious but at the same time tired voice. "The police are coming, we have to leave before they see us."

"Wipe both of their memories," said the man holding Lun in his arms. "If there are any survivors, which I doubt, do the same."

"What?" shouted the other girl. "Who the hell do you think you are to do that! I'm going to sue you! Knock it off!"

"Okay," a blonde, golden-eyed boy appeared next to Lun ignoring the other woman's words, who was grabbed by another man. He put his hand on her forehead, slowly causing a sleepy feeling to mercilessly invade her.

"Easy, beautiful, we're not going to hurt you," his voice hypnotized her. "When you wake up, you'll remember a group of muggers invading the parking lot. They were ruthless. They left no victims alive but you and another woman. Likewise, they hit you in the head and you will remember nothing else. You never saw us, and you will never see us" he sentenced.

Lun closed her eyes, taking in the woman's screams and the dark blue eyes of the man holding her in his arms.
