Part one: Chapter one

A man sat on his leathered chair with his hands covering his face, he appeared pissed and irritated while another man stood a little bit far from him, trying his best not to anger the man more. “Ah,” the sitting man yelled and flings the tumbler on his desk on the wall, the action was accompanied with earth shattering noise as the tumbler shattered to pieces. “What were you thinking?” He screamed at the man in the room, “how could you be such a fool?”

“Lo siento señor,” he apologized, “I’m sorry sir,” “but I really did not send him to him, Pablo just decided to do it himself and he believed with the help of Gabriella, that he could be able to do it.”

“Do what?” The man yelled, still furious, “how could he be able to do what no man could have done, what the police could not do, not even hired assassins has been able do that. Por el amor de Dios, he was just a niño, what made you even believe him when he said that?” his eyes was filled with rage as he glared at the man who was trying his possible best to avoid looking at him. For the Love of God, he was just a boy.

“Ah Andrés, mi hijo is dead, do you understand? My son is dead and he died because of your foolishness,” he stood up angrily from his seat that the chair rolled back, “what is the point of having you around? Tell me, what was the point?”

“Lo siento señor, but Pablo have always wanted to prove himself to you, he believed that if he takes him down that he would gain your respect. I tried to stop him, even Gabriella did but he didn’t listen, he wouldn’t. I’m sure Gabriella…”

“Is dead,” the man finished for him, his eyes not leaving him, “do you think that he would kill mi hijo and he would leave his girlfriend? That man has no heart, he has no soul. That man isn’t called El Diablo for no reason, do I need to tell you the meaning? In all the people you allowed my son to assassinate, you chose El Diablo, you chose The devil, Andrés, El Diablo,” he ran his fingers through his hair in a frustrated manner, “El Diablo,” he repeated and then shut his eyes, retreating to sit on his chair. “Mi amor is going to be so sad when I give her this news,” he started sobbing, “Pablo was her all, he was…” he couldn’t finished his words as his emotion got the best of him.

A loud noise downstairs startled them both, Andrés frowned and went to look out through the window, “what was that?” he asked.

“El Diablo,” the man whispered, “he has come, he said he would.”

Andrés looked at him, “but señor, there is no way he could have found us so fast, I mean, it has only been an hour you spoke to him.”

The man chuckled, “Andrés, Andrés, Andrés,” he shook his head, “five years into this world you still don’t know him, he said he was coming, and he would come,” he sighed, “you should have given him his money, Andrés, I would play cunningly with any other man but not him, not him.”

Andrés frowned, “what should we do now señor, we shouldn’t let him have his way.”

“That is what we would do, Andrés, I have lost mi hijo, I do not want mi amor to cry for both of us. Arrange his money, and then, we will wait.”

“But…”

“Andrés,” he interrupted, “arrange his money.”

“Sí señor,” he nodded and left the room. The man stood up and walked to the bar, he got two tumblers and a bottle of whisky and returned to his desk, he poured drink into the tumblers and picked up one and sipped from it, then he sat on his chair with his legs crossed and waited. He could hear the gunshots around him and the cries of his men but he didn’t bother to leave his seat and know what was actually happening, he sipped his whiskey and continued waiting while he was surrounded by gunshots and cries of men.

After a while, Andrés returned with a briefcase which he placed on the desk and retreated to stand beside his boss and they both waited. It wasn’t long, the door of the office was opened and a man walked in, he was dressed in black suit, black shoes and his eyes and hair was pitch black. His suit looked neat with not a single rumple and he walked slowly towards the man and his assistant that were watching him. He placed his sliver gun on the table and looked at the tumbler filled with drink and chuckled. He reached his hand to the one the man was drinking from and he offered it to him, he downed everything in a go and dropped the tumbler with a thud on the table.

“I believe you have something of mine,” he said in a soft and sensual voice.

“Sí,” the man nodded at the briefcase on the table, “just as agreed.”

“Mm,” the black haired man shook his head, “not as agreed. You sent your son after me, that deserves a penalty.”

“I understand,” the man nodded and stood up, he walked to the safe on the wall near the shelves and brought out a few wads of money, walking back to the black haired man, he placed it on the briefcase, “accept this as an apology for my son’s foolishness, I had no idea he would pull such stunt on you, I sincerely apologize.”

The man picked the money and put inside his suit’s pocket and then picked the briefcase, “apology accepted,” he smiled and picked his gun then he turned and with the same slow movement, left the room.

The man released his tight fist, “one day El Diablo, someone would avenge my son,” he sighed and sat down on his seat, “llama mi amor,” he said, “call my love,” “tell her I will be back soon, I need to pass the news to her myself.”

“Sí señor,” Andrés nodded and left the office once more while the man drowned himself in alcohol in the mourning of his dead son.

The music was bustling high in the speakers and there were many clustered body around, dancing. A man walked into the club, he made his way through the clustered body and some women walked up to him to dance with him but he mainly smiled at them and continued on his way. He approached the staircase and climbed up, approaching the private room, some bouncers stopped to search him, finding out he was clean, he was allowed inside the private room that was filled with almost naked women drinking and smoking, while some were running their manicured fingers on the body of the man who was smoking and drinking with them, and some bouncers stood at each edge of the room.

When the man saw the new arrival, he smiled and puffed out rings of smokes into the air, “ah, if it isn’t the devil himself,” he chuckled and sipped the drink one of the women fed him, “I have been expecting you. I even wondered how long it would take you to answer the call of a man like me.”

“I have been…busy,” the man answered and walked to the couch to settle himself on, one of the girls stood up and filled a glass of drink for him, then she cat-walked to him and handed him the drink. He took it from her with a smile and she winked and licked her lips, her hard nipples exposed from her brassieres. He smiled and didn’t entertain her, she wasn’t really his type.

“Well, it’s a good thing you are finally here, please enjoy yourself and I can see that my girl has taken a liking to you, you can have her for the night if you want.”

“No thanks, I don’t want any woman for the night,” he replied.

The man laughed, “ah, quick to business, right?”

“What can I say, I’m a businessman,” he smiled, his black eyes going around the room, making some calculations on how to take down the bouncers if it resolves to a fight.

“I see, and I must have you know that I respect that,” he looked at his girls, “give us a minute, okay?”

“Okay daddy,” they purred, “but don’t take long,” they stood up, twirling their hips as they left while the girl from before turned to the black haired man and growled sexily at him, showing off her nails like a cat before licking her lips and leaving the room.

“She likes you,” the man noticed, “you sure you don’t want her? I assure you, she is very good,” he smiled.

The black haired man smiled, “I will take the offer next time.”

“Your choice,” the man said and snapped his fingers, one of the bouncers came forward with a briefcase and clearing the table of the drinks and ashtrays, he placed the briefcase on it and opened it to reveal wads of dollar bills. He faced the opened briefcase to the black haired man and retreated to stand beside his boss. “That is three million dollars; I will pay you additional four million if you finish the job.”

The man looked up from the money, his black eyes pieced the brown ones of the man opposite him, “what is the job?” he asked with his soft sensual voice.

“I need you to deliver a package for me.”

“Name and address of the pickup.”

The man smiled, “so quick, I love that.”

“Delivery is my job.”

“So I was told,” he chuckled and looked at the bouncer once more and he fetched out an envelope from his pocket which he handed the man who took it and opened it, bringing out a photograph. “This is the package,” he said, giving the photograph to the bouncer to pass to the man opposite him.

His black eyes followed the bouncer till he reached him and he took the photograph from him, looking at it, he was surprised at what he saw but his reaction wasn’t seen on him. In the photo was a light brown haired woman with sparkling blue eyes. A full heart-shaped red lips, a natural defined pointed nose and long sexy eyelashes. He looked up at the man, “Drago Moonstone’s daughter.”

The man laughed softly, “I knew you would recognize her,” he continued laughing, “well, now you understand that getting her won’t be an easy job. Drago hardly let’s her out of his sight, but I want her, and I was told you are the only man for the job. Can I count on you?”

The man smiled, “I have never failed in a delivery.”

“I know, so I heard, so I was told. So, am I to expect her?”

“Like you said, Drago never lets her out of his sight, picking her up won’t be easy.”

The man smiled, “fine, I will pay you three million now and five million when the job is done, how about that?”

The black haired man smiled, his black eyes never leaving the man. After a few seconds, he replied, “deal. When do you want her?”

The man clapped, “great, that’s awesome. Due to the fact it won’t be easy getting her, you have one week to deliver her, my men would send you my address and you can always contact me with the number at the back of the photo.”

The man turned the photo and seeing the number, he nodded, “done,” he stood up and closed the briefcase, “see you in seven days,” he said to the man.

“See you,” he replied with a smile and the man nodded. On his way out, he saw the girls from before, seeing him leaving, they all went back into the room except the girl from earlier. She walked up to him and standing on her tiptoes, slammed her lips on his. He felt her push something into his mouth with her tongue then she smiled and winked at him before entering the room. He brought out what she pushed into his mouth and it turned out to be a piece of paper, opening it, he discovered that it holds her number. Chuckling, he crumbled the paper in his hand and dropped it on the floor before walking down the stairs and out of the club.
