"So....Sasha?" Asshole Colt looked at me, taking his eyes away from the road. "I didn't think you'd come to my company. You should have given me a call." He said. "How then would you know that I'm really interested in you? I prove through actions and not just words." I smiled at him and his lips curved upwards. "You are very bold. Not many of your type are this brave." He said and my teeth hit each other in an attempt to smile. Many of my type. Wow. "What type?" I asked as he pulled into his compound, bringing the car to a stop. For a CEO who talks big, his house was ridiculously small. "This–" He looked at me and gave a nervous laugh. "Welcome to my home." He muttered instead, getting out of the car. I didn't wait for a gentleman act as I also stepped out of the car instantly and walked behind him into the house. "Where's your wife?" I looked around the house. Pretty decent for a half murder scene. "She's out of the country." "Hmm, I see." I muttered with a smile, "Perfect." He grins at me and dropped his suitcase on the chair, walking towards me while pulling his tie off his neck. I take the bait, stepping towards him too, placing my hands on his chest. "Do you think she'd come back anytime soon?" "Get your mind off my wife and fix it on us and we are going to do here." He said, whispering into my ear. I gave a groan of discomfort which I'm pretty sure he heard as a mo@n, because he stuck his tongue about to lick my neck when I suddenly kneed him in the stomach. "Urgh!" He shot his ass backwards, his arms wrapping round his stomach. "You like it rough, huh?" He groaned as he raised his head to stare at me. "Very." I smiled and run my hands over his shoulders as I walked backwards. "Too rough." I dragged his tie backwards, pulling his head with it. Red color rushed to his face, his mouth opening in shock and a failed attempt to capture air. "You must be an idiot to think a Sasha would visit you at your office and home." I dragged the tie tighter, blocking off any air that might try to save him. "What? My type? Assholes like you don't get to use that word." I gave him a final sentence for now and hit him at the side of his neck. He fell unconscious immediately and I let go of the tie. "You are not dying any time soon. Live a long long life." Thirty minutes later, his model wife was pulling her luggage right through the door. "Uh, let me help you with that." I rushed to her and she almost disappeared through the door before I locked it. "Who the h*ll are you and what are you doing in my house?!" She screamed at me and I flattened my lips. "I'm an angel." I whispered to her ears and hit her right at the neck too before dragging her off the living room. Now tied and secured in their room, I picked a bowl on water and emptied it on both of their faces. The woman was fast to recover from the hit. "Hi." "Who are you?" She barked at me. "Tommy sent me to get revenge." "Who's Tommy?" She raised her brow. Something stabbed at my chest. Pain, Anger. She didn't even know the name of her own son. He was going to be six years this December and she didn't know his name. I stared at her hatefully. I might be passing aggression cause of the way I'm feeling but she and her husband totally deserved what was happening to them right now. "Your son." My voice came out in a whisper. "What son?" She looked at me in a confused gaze before recognition hit her. "How did you–" I cut her off with a sound slap as her head moved to the side. She screamed out loud as she turned back to look at me. "Who the h*ll are you?! And why would you interfere in my life! You don't know anything about me." She screamed out loud. I sighed. "This was supposed to be silent." I muttered angrily and walked to the side of her room, picking her pretty mirror and hitting it in the ground. It broke into numerous pieces resembling my life and I picked just a piece. "How about we destroy your face?" "That's my career!" She screamed. "Of course, I know that. I see you on magazines." I said harshly. "Wait!" She closed her eyes, taking in a deep sigh. People are always this way when they are scared of something or someone. They tend to think of things that can be used to hold on until something unexpected happens and works in their favour. "What?" I raised my brow, interestingly. "Where's he? Tommy?" "Who said you can call his name?" I asked, "You didn't give him that name, did you?" She didn't back down. "I tried to look for him. I really tried, hmmm? Colt, say something." She shouted at her husband and he looked at me. "You will regret this." He muttered vengefully. Anger bristled under my skin at his words and I smirked, looking around the room. Oh great, he was a drunkard too, that explained why a bottle of wine was laying aimlessly in the room. I walked to it and picked the bottle, sending it crashing on his head. "Colt!!!" "Shhh. Your husband doesn't love you. I was here as a call girl." I said to the screaming woman and she gulped. I could see the rise and fall of her chest, she was freaking scared right now. "I just needed to pursue my career. If someone knew we had a child, they won't make me the model for my debut magazine." She tried to explain. "Or maybe, you just didn't want him." I said and her eyes widened in fear. Fear that I knew the truth. "Then you shouldn't have birthed him at all. If you know the child your child is going to lead, you'll regret it. Till then....also try to heal like he would." I said. Ten minutes later, I walked out of the house, having given her a model mark on her face. She would millions to get face surgery and she wouldn't have it, because her account has been hacked and all the money in it, donated for charity. As for Asshole Colt, I broke all ten of his fingers and soon enough, he would see the news of his company blowing up on the news. It was a perfect revenge.ARIEL"So....Sasha?" ARIELI clenched my teeth tightly. My fingers bruised into my palm from the way my hands were fisted angrily."This is not right, dad." I said and walked past him, getting into the house. My anger boiled hot. How could he do that? Just because I failed in killing that nuisance doesn't make it okay for all of my responsibilities to be seized! It was all that viper's fault? If he had just died. "Ariel.""I just want to be alone, Lila." I jumped into her sentence and walked into my room, banging the door shut. My mind was anything but stable right now as I sat in front of my laptop. We had all the database of all the children in the church orphanage that the church didn't even have. From their real parents, dead ones to those who abandoned their children, deciding they didn't need them again, to those who were not capable enough to train them. Everything was right here. I could see them as I scrolled. The children were the victims in all of this. Stripp
DELANOWhen did D'Leonardo D'Caprico start to care about his son's life? It was something... unexpected and fake."How did it go?" Jay met me when I came out of the house, walking towards the car."Same old tale. He's trying to make me kill Ariel." I replied."Expected. An eye for an eye." Jay said. Both eyes for an eye. Better rule."Ariel would try to kill you too, so..." He shrugged."Jay." I called as I rested my hand on the door, "I'll never try to kill a woman.... through marriage. It's a stupid game to play. Stabbing while sleeping, it's not fun.""This is not a matter of fun. It's life and death." He grabbed the door from my hand, pulling it open and motioning for me to go in.""Besides, Ariel would resort to those methods too." He said, getting into the driver's seat. Arguing with Jay was pointless, it didn't seem to me that Ariel would play childish games like that, she looked too smart."Do you feel nervous about the wedding? It's in three
DELANO"YOUR FATHER ASKS YOU TO COME," JAY SAID. "If he needs me, he would call me," I muttered in reply. The old man knew better than to disturb me on a sunny morning. "He's angry."It was enough to make my head snap towards Jay, "Angry?""He seemed to have found out that you were trying to take over the port." He reported."He didn't care to find out before. Now he cares?""He cares because you were the one who pulled the attention of Saint D'Angelo to you?" It was a puzzling question from Jay."But I also brought him something, didn't I?" I asked, my brow moving upwards and Jay sighed, his fingers rubbing on his temples aggressively."Delano, you-""If he wants to see me, he should call me. It's my business I did on the port, not his. He doesn't have the right to interfere." "This is exactly why Saint tried to kill you, because he knows you are just so hard to crack. Only if you try to keep your head calm would you move attention away from you."
DELANOI MADE A QUICK JUDGEMENT OF HER CLOTHES. Big red polo on brown and black baggy jean that hung right on her waist. She held a bag over her shoulder and her headphone on her head. She definitely didn't look like she was here for some.... wedding dresses. Her expression morphed from shock to anger instantly as she stared at me."Did you stalk me?" She asked instantly without waiting for another minute.I cocked my head slightly, "What do you think, Kitten?""I am not...your kitten." Her voice was, almost, violent."Woah," I raised my hands slightly. I wasn't sure if she said that 'that way' for me to be scared of her. If she did, it didn't fvcking work. She was silent for a minute, her nostrils flaring slightly in defiance but I could feel her eyes lingering on my face, taking in every detail. Her chest heaved faster. I smirked."Checking out your husband before your wedding day?""No. Just plastering yourself to the back of my mind, so that I won't wa
ARIELMY EYES FLICKERED TO THE DOOR WHEN I HEARD A KNOCK. It pushed open and I stared at the person."Lila," I muttered underneath my breath as I closed my laptop and threw the towel on my neck on the table."The wedding card has been prepared," She said in a quiet voice and stretched her hand towards me.Red and gold.I hated it. "Date?" I asked boringly without accepting the card from her hand. She quickly opened it to check. "23rd.""Of this month?" I raised my brow, my voice high. It wasn't what I intended but I couldn't even stop it."Yes." "That's like four days." "Yes.""I'm getting married in four days.""Yes.""Say something other than just yes, Lila!" "What do you want me to say, ma?" Lila looked at me with a pointed gaze and I knew it was over.I've never felt this hysterical in my life. I wanted to scream but nothing came out as I fixed my hands into my hair and opened my mouth. I was screaming my lungs out but not a single noise was h
ARIEL"Send Marco." I said, my voice coming out shakier than intended. It was hard to even keep my breath under control, much more my voice. My hands were fisted by my sides tightly as I tried to stare my father in the eyes."You," Saint walked towards me with a snarky smirk, "you are still so weak." He poked my shoulder hardly with his index finger, making me move back in a stagger. He shouldn't do that."You are just like your mother. Just like her. So forgiving, so sympathetic. The pastor is spoiling our plans. He's keeping the kids away from us. Away from us! And yet..." He looked at me unbelievably, "you feel pity for him?""I don't feel pity for the pastor!"Yes, I don't. I feel bad. Not pitiful, just bad. Bad that he had to endure this. Bad that this...this was the tribulation he had to face."Colt would kill him and that is final!"I had barely stepped out of the study when I caught sight of Colt standing, looking smug at the passage way. I ign
ARIEL"Ariel. My study. Now." My father said the moment we stopped into the house. With a palpitating heart, I followed him up the stairs. I already knew I was doomed the moment I walked out of the party hall and gave Delano a last crazy look. I already hated him, even without seeing his complete face. I made a mental note to give him a more thorough background check to see if his face would pull up on any of the media or anywhere at all. Just to give me an idea of who he was, an ugly guy hiding under a mask.Even as the door closed behind me after walking into the dark study, thoughts of Delano still folded my head. The way his arm tightened around my waist when I looked into his eyes and stabbed him the knife. I still remember that eyes vividly. He didn't look shock, didn't look mad. He looked impressed..... looked at me like...I was something interesting. Something he'd want to check out. A shudder filled my body instantly. He was a crazy psycho. Hol
ARIELHE STARED AT ME WITH A FACE OF AMUSEMENT. I swear, if he came close to me, I'll spit on his face. Idiot. How he grabbed that knife was still beyond me. It was too sharp to not have left him with a very bad cut.I glanced at his hand, blood dripping from it from every single finger and falling on the ground. There was a puddle on the ground and I looked up at him. His gaze was now on my father and he wasn't showing any little sign of pain.My eyes flickered to his chest where the knife stab remained, a cut, yes, but not deep enough to have killed him. Shit, it was just a little more."What do you want in exchange, D'Leonardo?" I heard my father ask and my head jerked up to hear what he would say.He was only having a chance to answer, because Delano was still alive. Shame washed through my body in every corner, I had underestimated the guy. Who knew he would have seen past my mask and my fake sincerity? I was sincerely drunk....at the very least. T
