MRS PARK'S OFFICE

" I can't do this with him, Mrs. Park. It's quite impossible; maybe Alixes can or something but not me", Laura's voice echoed from the office.

Alixes swiftly turned to her with a pleading and astonished gaze.

" What? Me? Nah, nah, hell no not me, please. Don't send me to an early grave, girlfriend "

Laura took a quick glance at her and shook her head, ignoring her, " Mrs Park, please, help me out. This is like sending an antelope into a lion's den."

" Sorry, Laura but everything had already been planned and you guys are the best characters for that role. I think we're done talking about this now. Kindly excuse me, I got a lot to take care of over here, please"

She ended, showing her the door with a faint smile.

" But....(sighs)I guess is of no use. Let's get out of here, Alixes".

" Laura..."

"I said let's go!",She swiftly cuts her off, pulling her along as they exit the office.

"Hey, try and do something.... this will definitely be a disaster, gosh"

Mrs Park gazed at them through the window as their voices faded away. She scoffed, slightly shaking her head as she scanned through some documents on her laptop.

           CORRIDOR

Alixes kept ranting and whining. Laura roared with a depressed look,"Gosh, seriously?girlfriend, can you shut it for once?This is really irritating and it's seriously driving me crazy".

"But Laura, I'm just... "

" Enough! allow me think, please ", she shouted

"I need to figure out my next step and you're definitely going to give me headache if you continue, whining like this"

She ended and turned to leave but immediately bumped into someone causing his books to scatter on the floor.

"Hey, watch where you're going", the voice shouted.

"Watch your path as well, jerk!", she yelled as she lift her head to find out who it was.

" You again?", they both exclaimed with a scoff.

Ben scoffed with a faint chuckle, "Yeah, it's me, your worst nightmare, all knowing, Laura. Got any problem with that?".

Laura smirked with a sly grin," Nope, but I think you got something which belongs to me"

"This?", queried Ben teasingly as he flung the script in front of her. She quickly reached out to grab it but he lifted it above her reach, making it difficult to get hold of it. 

"Not so fast my dear", he chuckled.

Ben was 5.5 in height and Laura was just 4 which was difficult for her to struggle for the script.

Laura approached him with a fierce gaze,"What do you want, a fight before you hand it over?"

Alixes quickly pulled her behind with a pleading look,"Oh, no, Laura please don't start this again, please ". 

Laura scoffed,"Then why is he always looking for my trouble?"

Alixes ignored her and turned to Ben who stood staring at them with a satisfactory smile, apologetic, "So, sorry, Ben, kindly forgive her manners and let this sleigh, please–".

Laura who felt disgusted by Alixes plea scoffed, angry,"why the hell will she do that? I don't feel remorseful towards this jerk!"

Ben chuckled,"I heard that"

Alixes hit her head angrily, "Shut it already, gosh!"

"Ouch, Alixes! why do you have to do that in front of this, this, bastard",shouted Laura, rubbing her head with a sheepish look, feeling embarrassed. 

Alixes raised her hand as if to hit her which made Laura swat her head away, "And I'll do it again if you don't shut that mouth of yours".

"Tell her to meet me at the theatre hall after school for her script and also to start our rehearsal", said Ben with a smile. Alixes and Laura gasped with their jaws slightly dropped, astonished by his words.

He trod past Alixes and suddenly paused beside Laura as he drew his lips closer to her ears.

"We can't disappoint our teachers on that big day, Laura. And guess what, even if that happens, you'll be the one to suffer more because of your intellectual and talented reputation in this school", whispered Ben with a smile.

Laura deftly glanced at him, shocked," What's he up to?", she wondered.

He scoffed and tapped her shoulders with a chuckle, noticing the shocked look on her face.

"See you, at 4pm, Laura Roberts", he said and strolled off.

Laura gazed at him still in shock," Who does he think he is to threaten and order me around?", she mumbled.

 Alixes glanced at them and drew closer to her, "Will you keep staring at him like this? Don't tell me you're already head over heels for him".

Laura swiftly turned her gaze on,"What? Stop spilling trash, girlfriend. That will never happen not even in your dreams or his", she exclaimed and stormed off.

"Hey, I didn't mean that, wait for me", she shouted with a chuckle and sped after her.
