Auren

I walk outside to the car where Asha is. She's resting her head against the headrest, her beautiful hair falling over her face.

Mm. Some peace and quiet I guess.

I gently open the car door so I won't wake her up, but the minute I get into the car, she jerks up, whipping her head in my direction.

"Oh, it's you," she grumbles, rubbing her eyes sleepily.

"It's okay. You can go back to sleep," I sigh, closing my eyes and resting against the headrest.

"I don't want to anymore," I feel my side of the seat dip in.

I open my eyes, and look her way, "What's the matter?"

"Wh- what were you doing in there? Did you actually kill someone?" Her wide eyes shine at me.

I swallow the lump caught in my throat, and look away.

Haa, those fucking eyes.

   "Yes," I reply glumly.

She goes silent. Only the sound of her breathing can be heard.

"How do you sleep at night knowing that you've murdered someone?" She huffs.

"Like a god-damned baby," I shoot her a glare to shut her up, but she doesn't back down.

She returns it, her eyes darkening, "Do you feel proud of yourself?"

"I'm not in the mood for your questions darling, let me be, and go back to sleep," I shift my weight to my right lap.

"Oh hell no," she grabs my chin, and makes me look at her.

"You look at me when I'm talking to you!" She growls at me.

My eyes slowly widen at her defiance— every muscle in my body heats up, my heart skipping multiple beats in a second.

   No way.

Her brows flatten slowly when she realize what she has done. She jerks away from me, her hands flying to cover her mouth.

"I.. didn't mean that," she shakes her head, her pupils dilating.

I know that, but I can't help but drown in the heat of that. That was hot— it's not supposed to be, but this little lady— she does thing to me. Things that I didn't think any creature would do to me.

"You've got some nerve, sweetheart," a corner of my mouth goes up, "I see you have not a shred of fear for me."

She huffs, propping her arms under her breasts, "You're such a silly old man. Why would I be scared of you?"

I clench my fists, stopping myself from grabbing her throat, and choking the fuck out of her.

"I seriously can't wait till his situation is over. You will make me run mad one day," I grind my teeth, holding my head in frustration.

"It's not as if you're any better," she snaps back, "I want to get away from you too."

I seriously have to start searching for a solution to this life threatening problem.

Someone taps lightly on the window, interrupting the simmering moment.

I look to see it's Aidan.

"What is it?" I cock a brow.

"He's ready to spill sir. We blackmailed him to the point of tears."

An unexpected grin kisses my lips. My heart blooms with a satisfaction I so wanted to scratch that itching frustration in my chest.

"Good," I open the car door, alighting from it.

"Blackmail? Really?" Asha's voice cuts through the air.

"Just sit there, and remain pretty, butterfly. I've got a lot of shady things to do," I close the door behind me.

"Look after her. Scout the area for any threats. If there's any while I'm away, protect her with your life, understand?" I whisper to Aidan, placing a hand on his shoulder.

   "Yes boss!" He slightly bows.

I saunter towards the building again, my pride shooting through the roof.

I reach the room, sitting down on my designated chair, "Are you ready to spare the lives of your beloved family?"

   He nods, "Y-yes sir."

"Hmm," I turn to Raze, "You did a good job."

  "Thank you boss," he bows.

"What's your name?" I ask th goon.

  "It's.. Bran, boss," he replies.

"Bran... What an awkward name," I chuckle, and shake my head in amusement.

"Now, tell me everything you know, and I mean, everything."

He swallows, his Adam apple bobbing up and down. His face is mushy with sweat dripping all over his face, his pupils blown dangerously wide.

I wonder what fuel Raze and Vincent added to my fire.

"I.. I don't exactly know where he is, but—" he pauses.

"Don't play with me. Just spill."

"He... He went south with the rest of his men. Word had gotten to him that you were planning a huge comeback, so he entered into hiding to sort himself out."

I narrow my eyes, "Word had gotten to him? How did that happen?" I stand up, whipping my revolver out of my pocket.

He trembles, "I.. d-don't know. Somehow it leaked," he bows his head, "That's all I know. P-please spare my wife and kid."

I tighten my grip around the gun. Who would leak information to Rheagar, and why?"

I turn to Raze, "There's a breach within my own men. Someone must have sold that information for money," I laugh, my insides burning with rage.

Raze looks puzzled, and hurt at the same time, "But how? Who would do this?"

I clench my fists, turning my attention to the other two goons, "Who sold that information to you?"

They deny knowing who did it.

"If you don't tell me the truth, I will make you live while I blow your insides out of you," I point it at one of them.

"I swear, I don't know sir!" He yelps.

I place my hand on the trigger, ready to pull.

"His name was Zarven! His name was Zarven!" The redhead yells, "I don't know who he was, but I know his name was Zarven."

I freeze in my tracks, and my blood runs cold. It can't be.

   "Boss?" I hear Raze's voice but I don't respond. I can't.

"Are you sure it was Zarven?" My voice lowers.

He nods frantically, "Rheagar had said it himself, his name was Zarven."

My knees almost give out, but Raze is quick to catch me and drag me back to my chair.

   Zarven? My brother?

  • ENSNARED BY HIS WOLF    Scared of the dark

Asha "Asha?" Auren calls. I don't respond. I just sit there frozen in place. It's dark. Like really dark. Jet black dark. I can't see a thing. It wasn't this dark when I was thrown into that room with Auren, or even when we got stuck in the middle of nowhere. At least, I could see some stuff. But this is not the case. I hate this kind of dark. I hate the memories associated with it. I never want to be in a dark room. The goddess knows the trauma that followed each time I was in a dark room. I hear the stove being turned off. "Let me go check the wires; something must have gone wrong with them," he says, and I hear his footsteps shuffling for the door. "Auren wait! Don't leave me here!" I cry out in panic. I hear his footsteps pause, "Is something wrong?" "I- I'm scared of the dark," I admit, my bones trembling as though a block of ice were shoved through my throat. "You're a werewolf. Why would you be scared of the dark?" An amused chuckle leaves hi

Asha "I can't have you feeling sick" Auren groans, "Whatever is wrong with you? Can't you at least describe your symptoms?" He places me gently on the seat. "I- I'm actually fine," My hand instinctively grabs his collar. He pauses, his brow cocking, "Hm?" "I'm not sick," My cheeks warm up, and I immediately look away. "Then what's the matter with you? Why were you acting as though you were on the brink of death?" "I don't think your brother is trustworthy," I sigh, "I did that so we could get away from him." He pulls away from me with a grimace, "How would you know that?" I'm not supposed to tell you— or am I? "Don't play with me. I'm not in the mood for your games right now." I bite my lower lip to stop me from saying utterly vile words. "Get in the car," I gently pull him in, "We should leave. Our welcome has been overstayed." He heaves, slumping into the seat, "You're right. It's already late, you must be exhausted." Tch. The driver kick

  • ENSNARED BY HIS WOLF    Bad feeling

Asha Auren comes back to the car looking distressed. His brows are pinched together, his eyes slightly narrowed. 'Zarven couldn't do this to me. It can't be.' I arch an eyebrow. Who's Zarven? What couldn't he do now? I gasp, placing my fingers over my mouth. Oh my goodness, is somebody dead? Did this Zarven kill someone? He opens the car door and enters inside, "Drive," he tells the driver, "Now. To Zarven's place." The driver nods, and kick starts the engine. "What's the matter? You look unhappy all of a sudden," I ask. He shakes his head, "It's not something you should worry about, princess," he grumbles, looking out the window. Bad thing, I can read your mind, duh; worse thing, I don't know what's going on. ... We arrive at a stony mansion. I mean, this baby is literally made of stones, those ancient vibes and all. Or maybe this is a castle? I alight from the car, my eyes going wide at the ancient yet majestic sight before me. Auren alights from

  • ENSNARED BY HIS WOLF    Where is Rheagar?

AurenFinally.Time for payback. I stand outside the building where Rheagar's men are supposedly hiding out. I turn to Raze, and give him a nod, "Go scope the place out with the others, and come give me report. I can't go in with cupcake over here," I tilt my head to Asha who's still sitting in the car. "Yes boss," he nods, heading towards the building with three of my other goons. "Do you think it's necessary to fight them back?" Asha's voice rings in my ears. I look over my shoulder, "What are you trying to imply?" "I'm just saying, I don't think it's necessary for you to pay him back. You could just let it go," she shrugs. A hint of a smile appears on my lips, "such an innocent little princess," I run my thumb over her lower lip, "I believe I have told you before, I'm a member of the underworld. This is my life, pumpkin." I grin just to infuriate her. Her face goes bright red, and she smacks my thumb off her lip, "So what will happen if you get killed? I h

  • ENSNARED BY HIS WOLF    Confessions

Asha Auren's mind rushes with such perverted thoughts, despite myself, I feel the blood rushing down in my clit like crazy. I try to push those thoughts away, but his thoughts make it worse for me to concentrate. "You're not supposed to invade my personal space, young man! Rules are rules!" I squeal, blocking myself with my hands from his advances, but my heart races more with excitement than with fear. What would he really do to me? Does he really want to feel my skin against his? Will he go further than that? I shake my head in horror when I realize the bad influence his thoughts are having on me. He pulls away. I swallow hard, trying to cool my burning temperature, and tell my woman down there nothing's happening. Nothing's supposed to happen. "I—" A sudden wave of electric washes through my body. The hairs on the back of my neck, stand erect, my pupils blowing wide. You're mine, Asha. I won't stop until I claim you. Excuse me? You're mi
