Asha

Raze takes that same path I saw him take the other day. This time I make sure to follow him closely. Ain't no way I'm about to lose him this time.

I keep a close track on him, but make sure I'm a good distance away. Anytime he senses someone's behind him, I make sure to find a hiding spot.

We've been going on like this for the past thirty minutes. Each time, I keep praying we don't run into those losers we ran into the last time. I can't risk dying a second time.

  • ENSNARED BY HIS WOLF    Many miles apart

Asha We're thrown into a small room in the middle of nowhere. Thankfully, this one isn't dark, and has a window. "Fuck it, fuck!" Rage punches a wall in rage. I sigh in defeat, sliding down to sit on my butt. The coolness of the wall seeps harshly into my back, making me shudder slightly. "I'm so sorry you're being dragged into this," I hear his voice above me, "I'm sure they're targeting you because they feel you're Auren's weak point. I'm sure they think you're his girlfriend or something." I suck in my lower lip, willing my eyelids shut. "Can I just catch a fucking break?" I slide my head into my palms. I sense him sit down close to me, "Hey, you shouldn't beat yourself up. I'll find a way to get us out of here." I swallow, my throat bopping hard, "I don't know if I can take this anymore. I mean, what did I even do? Why would they want me?" "I believe I already answered that question," he sighs besides me. I whip my head in his direction, "Very funn

  • ENSNARED BY HIS WOLF    There's trouble

Asha "Here, eat up," Raze places the plate of bacon and bread in front of his mother. "You're stressing too much, honey. What if your boss finds out that you're not at your table?" She holds his arm, her eyes gleaming with concern. Does she know her son is a part of the underworld? "It's okay," he gives her a warm smile, "It's okay. He gave me permission," he lies through a fake smile. Our eyes meet, and he signals for me to keep my mouth shut. "Ma'am, you shouldn't worry about him. His boss is so nice." His mother looks at me, "Are you sure, dear?" I nod once. "See? Now stop stressing over that, and eat up," he urges her. She looks back at me before she resumes her meal, "You can call me Gina, dear. Please try and visit me occasionally too." "Of course, Gina." "Go bring her pills from that table," he points over to a table beside one of the sofas where some medicine are lying. I walk over to the table, grab her pills, and walk back to the di

We've been going on like this for the past thirty minutes. Each time, I keep praying we don't run into those losers we ran into the last time. I can't risk dying a second time. We finally get to his destination. It's an old house that has seen better times. It's frail roof clings onto the structure for dear life. The paint on the walls are peeling off, and the walls are beginning to have cracks in some places. Who hides out in a place like this? I wonder why goons always associate their hideouts with old, rickety buildings. Why can't they rent something more... decent? I wait till he reaches the front door, before I whip out my phone to take some pictures. Today's the

  • ENSNARED BY HIS WOLF    Betrayal

Auren Fuck, I hate her. I sink into my chair, my heart still numb, mulling over the argument Asha and I had. She really thinks I'm some cold blooded murderer for no just cause. Haa, as if I would be where I was today if not for him. I throw a hand over my face, trying to shut out the images from my head, but nothing's working. That's it, you're just trying to put up a wall so everyone can be scared of you. No wonder Rheagar hates you so much. Her words are a stab in a fresh wound all over again. Never did I think someone's words would hurt me so much. I wasn't supposed to give a fuck, heck, I wasn't supposed to care about what she thinks, but fucking hell I do. I do care about my image in her head. All along, I thought I'd been slowly repairing that gory image of me she once had in her head. Turns out, she still has it. All my efforts had been in vain. I dig my teeth into my lower lip to stop myself from groaning. I really should stop thinking about her.

  • ENSNARED BY HIS WOLF    Make that traitor pay

Asha I drag myself through the hallway, my heart pounding. I wasn't expecting any of this. What I thought would be a simple revelation of the supposed traitor turned out to be a freaking murder scene. I blink back the tears that are forming at the back of my eyes. Ain't no way I'm going to cry. I exhale softly, wishing I could go away from this. I want to leave here and escape somewhere else, but that would put Auren in danger. Damn everything, and damn him! The worst moment of our relationship still has me tied to him— even though he clearly said I should leave him alone. I just shake the thoughts out of my head. I need a long walk to clear my head. 'What a silly girl he keeps around. The goddess knows why he even harbored her in the first place.' A strange voice pops out of nowhere. I pause in my tracks, straining my ears to listen to the voice again. Nothing. I look around, "Who's talking?" 'I can't wait till she leaves this place. She's

  • ENSNARED BY HIS WOLF    Two different worlds

Asha Auren's head snaps in my direction. For a second, his eyes go wide before narrowing back to their dark slits. Without warning, Aidan comes rushing to my corner. He grabs my arm, and roughly pulls me out of my hiding place. "She isn't someone to get all rough with," he warns, "Be careful." "Sorry boss," he releases his grip on me. He gently let's go of my arm as soon as we're in front of Auren. "What the fuck are you doing here?" He asks through clenched teeth. I'm still reeling from the fact that I just saw someone get murdered. Murdered in cold blood. "You son of a bitch! Why would you do that?!" I yell, my heart hammering against my ribs. His brows knit into an unpleasant frown, "I warned you, didn't I? Why didn't you listen to me?" He drags his palm over his face. "H-he didn't do it! He definitely didn't do it! Can't you differentiate a liar from someone who's telling the truth?" "Asha—" "Raze did it!" I point over to Raze, who suddenly tur
