“The lady in red,” I heard someone singing the 80s pop song as I walked down the stairs with Blake trailing behind me, “is dancing with me, cheek to cheek.”

It was an alluring voice, deep and vibrational. So, I smiled, half-yawning as the scales of sleep fell off my eyes. I knew he was singing that because of the red nightdress I had on, that made it both cringe and adorable, the perfect type of romantic.
