Jeremy in the human world

Melissa's POV

I journeyed out of the pack and into the woods with so many words going through my mind. I know I have no idea how I am going to get to the human world but I have no.other choice than to, the thought of getting lost in the woods gripped me really close.

To my surprise, as I got closer to the pack gate, one of Nelson's men handed me a black horse. At first, I thought he approached me to accompany me on the trip.

"The Alpha said that I should provide you with this horse, he runs faster and he will make you reach your destination faster than you can imagine" his words stayed glued to my head.

With a nod, I gulped really hard, my eyes leaving him as they fell on the horse who stood still waiting for me.

"Thank you" I muttered with a brief smile as I held onto the reins of the horse, climbed on it and with a slight glance at the guard who watched me, I nodded again and at once, the horse galloped into the woods.
