Day off with the Alpha

;Maia was reading a book under the tree in the backyard of the pack house. She has been there for almost half an hour, enjoying the wind and the sun. She has no plan to mess with the big bad wolf today because she was so sure that Oakley was not going to do her condition and he's probably irritated at her because of what she has done yesterday.

She sighed when there was someone standing near her, blocking the ray of light from the sun. The shadow was lingering over her, making her irritated. She was about to yell but was startled when she saw the Alpha glaring at her. Maia stood up quickly and slightly bowed her head as a respect.

"G-Good morning, Alpha," she stuttered.

Oakley hissed at her. "What now? I canceled all of my appointments for your condition and here are you, busy reading and chilling under the tree?"

Maia awkwardly scratched the back of her neck. "I-I thought that you didn't want to have a day off?"

The Alpha frowned. "I said that I have some things to do. I didn't say that I don't need a day off."

"It's just the same, right?" she mumbled.

"No, it's not. What now? Did I cancel all of my meetings for nothing? What's your plan? It should be great or I'll punish you," the Alpha grunted.

She doesn't have anything in her mind. Maia didn't expect that Oakley will going to agree with her conditions so she didn't have any plans. She nodded and smiled while acting like she was a good girl, who was prepared for everything.

"What do you want to do, Lakey?" she asked.

Maia was startled when she saw the Alpha stiffened. She readies herself for his violent reaction because she thought that she offended him. But the opposite happened because she saw that the corner of his lip rose slightly. He is not mad; he likes it. She secretly smiled because of what she saw. There was also a tickling sensation running down to her spine that she didn’t know what and why.

"Why are you asking?" the Alpha questioned.

She smiled. "Because this day off is for you. What are the things that you want to try to and to do that you can't do because of your work and status?" 

Oakley frowned. "It's your condition so, why it's all about me?"

She shrugged. "I just want to."

The big bad wolf turned his back on her. "I don't know."

Maia can sense his uneasiness. There was a little sadness in his voice, making her frown and worry. Then something hits her mind. He was just like her, too. She was sure about it. The loneliness she felt in his voice was the same as her suffering back then. And in that very moment, she promised to do everything to make him happy and save him from that deep water of sorrow.

She was still not into him, but there was a weird feeling and strange voices telling her to be nice and help him. She didn't know if it was because of the mate bond or not, but the only thing that she was sure about was it making her soft and emotional.

The Alpha was about to walk away so she run toward him, hold his hand, and pulled him inside the pack house. And the moment that their skin touched each other, they both feel like there was a voltage of electricity circling on their spine. 

Maia pulled the big bad wolf up to his room. She pushed him to go inside his room but the Alpha holds himself and remained standing in front of the door.

"Go. You need to change your clothes into sleeveless or muscle shirts and shorts. You know, like normal wolves. Anything aside from the tux, polo, and long sleeves. Then, wait for me at the front door," she said.

Oakley frowned. "Why? If they saw me in that state, they will despise me. Are you planning on disrespecting me in front of my whole pack?"

She shook her head. "No, Lakey. We will going to have some fun. Trust me."

The Alpha's eyes turned into slits. "I don't trust you."

"Do you really think that I'm stupid? I am now far and free from my cellar in my parent's hands. Therefore, I will not do anything that can bring me back to that hell. So, go and change your clothes, Lakey," she implied.

She no longer waited for Oakley to go inside of his room. She turned around and walked away towards her room. Her mind and heart are arguing now. She secretly scolds herself for doing madness now. But she will do everything she can so that her mate does not return her to the hands of her parents. Even if she needs to play with fire, she will just be very careful so that she does not get hurt by what she has started.

Maia was in her comfortable clothes, which are loose t-shirt and booty shorts. She was excited to wear that in public because her parents didn't let her wear that aside when she was alone in her room. But now, she has the freedom to do that.

A few minutes before she goes out of her room, Maia decided to wander around the pack even without the Alpha. If Oakley didn't show up then, she will go by herself. But when she finally arrived at the front door, she saw the big bad wolf standing near his car. He was wearing a black muscle-fitted tank top and white board shorts. It truly hugged his well build upper body that really exposed his true beauty.

"Wow. You look different," she praised.

The Alpha looked at her. She can feel his intense glare, making her anxious. She has a good body that fits at her height. Her skin was perfect and flawless because of her mother. In addition to her own styles, she braided her hair into two and let them hang on both of her sides.

"What?" she mumbled.

"You look different, too," Oakley said.

She smiled. "This was my own style. Wearing gowns and formal clothes are tiring."

"Whatever," the big bad wolf grunted.

Before the Alpha could call the vehicle and the guards, she grabbed his hand again and pulled him. They started walking towards the town quietly, still holding each other's hands. She just let go of his hand when she was sure that the big bad wolf would not run back to the pack house.

After several minutes of walking, they finally reached the town. She grabbed Oakley's hand again and pulled him towards the corn dog's stall. Maia bought four sticks of con dogs and gave the two to the Alpha.

"What's this? Are you bluffing me?" the big bad wolf grunted.

She giggled. "Eat. It's not poisonous."

To prove that the food she bought was safe to eat, she ate it first. Then she motioned him to do the same and even if the Alpha was hesitating, Oakley do his first bite of the corn dog. Maia chuckled when she saw the eyes of the big bad wolf widen then, do his second bite, third, and fourth until the two sticks of corn dog were gone.

"How is it?" she asked.

Oakley looked away. "It's fine."

She knows that the Alpha enjoyed it so, she can't now wait to let him try everything. She grabbed his hand again and they run towards the next stall, a few meters away from the first one.

They went to various food stalls and she let Oakley to try them all. She knew the big bad wolf was pleased, based on all of his reactions. Maia can feel her inner wolf howl in joy every time she saw the Alpha's eyes glow with amazement. She can also feel Oakey’s satisfaction, probably due to the mate bond that was connecting them.

In the beginning, he really had no plan and idea of ​​how and what they were going to do. Maia thought that the big bad wolf would not come and fulfill her condition. She was just trying him and was also working on a way to be an excellent mate while trying to win his trust. She had to do it so that he would no longer scold her. She was sure that he would bring her back to her parents and that is what she would not let happen.

They scoured the whole town, eating a variety of foods, going to boutiques and sightseeing. The two spent their time on such things until they decided to go home to the pack house. Maia went straight to her room because some guards talked to Oakley. She didn't wait for him anymore because she knew that everything would have only one end after their happy day. He will be angry with her again like before.

Maia filled the bathtub with water and then made lots of bubbles on it with the imported liquid honey and strawberry soap. She took off all her clothes and rode inside it. She sat down and leaned on its edge while adjusting herself to the water's temperature. Then, all the scenes that happened to her and the Alpha flooded her mind. She giggled when she remembered how happy the big bad wolf was and laughed when she recalled how clueless he was.

She was right. Oakley was just like her. She was physically tortured while he was stocked with his position and obligations. She can't do what she wants because of her parents while he was scared of being judged. 

Maia was in her bathtub for almost half an hour. She only came out of the bathroom when someone knocks at the door. She took and put on her bathrobe and went out just to find the Alpha sitting on the couch. 

"W-Why?" she mumbled.

"I would like to inform you that Renata will be coming home tomorrow," Oakley replied.

"Really? Awesome!" she beamed.

"Their missions are successful. We owed you," he said.

"I just want to help," she smiled.

The big bad wolf stood up and walked towards the door. "Thank you for today, mimosa. And I like your smell."

With that, Maia was left dumbfounded. She can feel her face heat up and is sure that she is now as red as a tomato. After a couple of o seconds, she regained her sanity and hurriedly runs to her vanity mirror. 

"What the hell?" she said.

She felt embarrassed at herself when she saw her cheeks blushed. Maia cupped her cheeks and tapped them lightly to wake herself from the Alpha's charm. She then changed into her comfy clothes and jumped up on her bed.

She was like a worm, twitching and rolling in bed. She almost fell, but she still didn't stop on rumbling like a crazy girl. Maia can feel like there are a thousand of butterflies in her stomach and a voltage of electricity running down her spine. Her cheeks become warm again when her brain started playing the words that Oakley had said to her.

"What the hell is happening to me?" she mumbled.

I will not let myself fall from him. He was ruthless and a cheater. I don't want to be bonded to an unfaithful man like him.

Maia calmed herself and forced her brain to think. She needs to clarify and plan everything that she needs to do. Her mission is to be a good luna or maybe a friend and a servant so that she will never return to the hell again. She will do everything to stay in Havoc Moon. She was now near to the freedom that she had been asking for so, she was willing to do and take risks as long as she can.

"I need to be free," she mumbled.

She sighed and closed her eyes. Then, she let the sleepiness overcome her entire system.
