The Beautiful Ending

Maia was busy looking out the window. She was preparing a simple snack for her beloved babies who were happily playing in the backyard. Her belly was now in its fifth months of getting pregnant, making for her to minimized her movements, afraid that she might get hurt.

She prepared a delicious pasta with small chunks of fried meats, sausages, tiny bits of carrots, asparagus and coated with sweet and cheesy tomato sauce. As the time goes by, she started to be a good chef, improving in her everyday attempts.

She was about to bring the bowl of pasta when she halted on her track and a small smile escaped from her lips as the baby inside her kicked for the first time.

She sighed and holds her tummy. "Your Daddy Al will be happy is he's here," she mumbled.
